I originate from Niagara Falls, NY, but now live in Belen, NM.|
Among other things I'm a professional photographer.
I've been doing genealogy since the late 70's. My living family stretches from coast to coast, but my US ancestors were mainly in New England. I'm delighted to find many of them here.
I was working on photographically documenting the cemeteries of Valencia County, New Mexico before I moved back to Albuquerque. I'm currently in the middle of transcribing San Clemente. I'm also photographing and submitting Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens and Terrace Grove.
My dad was in the 776 EPD Co during WWII. Finding a lack of information on the unit I started a Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/776EPD I'm gradually adding photos and need help with names and places. If you have any interest in this unit please "Like" the FB page.

According to Michael J O'Brien in his 'Pioneer Irishmen of Northampton, MA, Hannah Arms was the wife of Joseph Clesson, Jr who died as commander of a military company of Massachusetts, 4 June 1753 and was buried at Fort William Henry in New York. Highly unlikely that he was born 4/23/1675 which would have made him age 78 at death, in military service. The date of 1675 might belong to his father, Joseph Sr Clesson.
The same source does not provide Junior's birth date. It does say that Junior and wife Hannah Arms had 10 children. But does not name them.
More research should be done to clarify the Birth and Death dates of father and son. Senior's 9 children are listed in Sheldon's 'History of Deerfield, MA' pgs 142-143.

I am questioning the validity of the DOB & DOD posted on findagrave.com. If born in 4/23/1675 as indicated in Sheldon's 'History of Deerfield, MA', the man with those dates would have been 78 years old at death. Possible age for Joseph Sr.
'Pioneer Irishmen of Northampton, by Michael J O'Brien', says that it was Senior's son Joseph commanding a company of Massachusetts soldiers, who died 6/4/1753,and was buried at Fort William Henry in New York. It is most doubtful that a man of 78 years would have been commanding in a military battle.
I suggest more research to learn the correct dates of birth and death for both father and son and a likely correction to your findagrave.com posts.

Thank you for the correction for George Crofte. I have made the changes on his site.
I connected the family and hope that helps with some of the confusion on all the names. LOL

Would you mind removing the image of "no marker found" on Anna Spaulding's Memorial #43340644? We are working to put one there, and also there is a note on her memorial that says no marker is found.

Hi! I photographed all identifiable stones in the Avery Cemetery this past fall. It would appear that his is one of those no longer legible...many of the stones of that age were made from a reddish sand stone- like material and the information has just sloughed off. If the weather moderates here in the next week or so, I'll go back to check for you, but wouldn't expect much success. Diane
