Bio Photo Interested in family history the good and the bad.
Alot of my ancestors and KIN are in Weston West Virginia and some are in New York or more to the point Long Island New York.
I hope to record all this and pass it down to the next generation of my family. Sadly I cant find anything past my dads parents. The only thing I know is they came from Canton China. Plus two of my family memebers are dead and now the door even closes more of where my chinese ancestors come from. Out of 7 now only 4 remain to tell our chinese story. Recently lost my dad on August 19, 2016 now only three remain to tell our story. Bill, Perry and Mary (Mark) Jung

Oh I am also interested in findagrave so people know where people are buried I find it sad there are markers that are no longer readable and they are strangers in the cemetery.

Wm. Perry Stallsmith
I feel actual relief seeing William Perry Stallsmith. There are public records from his life, like census, available on ancestry.com that have Perry. But I suspect FindAGrave rules for many and they may not look further for confirmation. This new public ancestry boom makes these sorts of corrections all that more important, for respect, to at least have name remembered. Thank you!

wm p stallsmith. 1872
Wm P Stallsmith (1872) name is William Perry Stallsmith, NOT William Paul Stallsmith. Please accept my edit. I now see all of these trees in ancestry.com who use the spell from this site. His son and grandson were William Paul Stallsmith. However, the 1872 Wm. P Stallsmith is William Perry Stallsmith. I grew up in Bethesda, he is my great grandfather, I know as a fact he is William Perry Stallsmith. He was called Perry. His son was Paul. His grandson William. Thank you. (Excuse my earlier ipad spell typos...)

We do not know exactly where in the cemetery his grave is located. We created this findagrave based on the information from his obituary. OZARKCHERYL

RE: Louie
This is the grave site of my husband's mother. His father immigrated to the U.S. in 1956 and settled in Baltmore, MD. He had an aunt and her family who lived there, surname Chan. My husband, his mother and brother followed in 1963. I would love to find a linkage to his family in the U.S., but given that the majority of Cbinese here immigrated from Canton (Guangdong) Province, it is not likely there is a connection.

I have moved on to a different section of the family and I can't figure out who it was for but I'm sure I will run across it again and then I will let you know. Thanks, Karen

These were Dan's wishes. He was a very private person. I understand where you're coming from though. :)

May I please use the photo of Conway and Kathleen Brewer's gravestone? I am trying to document our family history. Thanks, Karen

The family would like for that information to remain private.

No, I haven't. That's so nice about the music, though I'm very sorry to hear about your dad's passing last year. A parent's death is never easy to reconcile, regardless how old they are when it happens. My dad passed away four years ago, and I still miss him.

I grew up in and around the area and while many of my relatives on my mom's side are buried in Parklawn, I have only been there a few times. Now, I'm living out of country, so I don't get out that way as often as I'd like.

Find-a-grave provides such a valuable service, helping folks find and share family historical information. And all the volunteers, such as yourself, who respond to requests, are especially deserving of our thanks!
Thank you, again for your help!
