William is my wife's first cousin once removed. I have many links to William. Parents, 6 siblings. He also is connected to 12 aunts/uncles. William's niece did extensive work on this lineage. She ran the line back 4 generations from William. You can read everything she did at http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~ohclecgs/newsletter/bethalchu.html
Let me know what you want and how to transfer it to you.

I'll be very glad to lay out all the info for you, it's not exactly short. Please respond on my regular email, shown on my profile page. Also let me know if you are on ancestry dot com so that I can link you to resources there.

Thank you for confirming Uncle Bud's birthplace, which I have corrected per your suggestion. (Census records show both Ohio and Indiana, but I had already concluded that the former was correct and hadn't got round yet to making the change on Find A Grave.)
Bud married my father's first cousin, who was much more like a sister, and thus they were Uncle Bud and Aunt Gret to me. I was the flower girl in their wedding in 1952, and spent many happy days with them in Des Moines. Adored them both.

I'm happy you got to see the picture. If you go to our funeral home website, popfuneralhome.com you can search for Elsie's obituary and watch a video with more pictures of her and the family.

I have found three different birth places for him. 1880 census has Kentucky as birth place; the others you mentioned have Indiana; Marriage bond at Newport has Ohio. Not sure which one is correct. I have listed his birth places on the memorial with sources. I am going to delete Ohio as birth place and leave it blank.
