I applaud everyone for their additions to Find A Grave. I have found a lot of burials on this site for family members. |
The memorials I have added have been made to assist those who do genealogy. They are not intended to hurt or upset anyone. If one has been posted that you prefer does not appear, just kindly contact me and it will be removed immediately upon request. (love this quote from T M & M L)
Please feel free to use any photographs I have taken.
If you find a memorial has been added but has incomplete or incorrect information, instead of creating a duplicate memorial use the tools provided to submit corrections, additions or a transfer request via the "Suggest A Correction" link under the 'Edit' tab on the upper right of the memorial. Never deliberately create a duplicate memorial. In regard to duplicates, a memorial with a correct known burial location will always be preferred over an unknown burial location. (HOWEVER) A member has thirty days to update the memorial to the correct burial location on recent deaths. If a case of duplicate memorials falls to the Administration, the Administration will have the final word on which memorial is deleted and which data will be retained in the remaining memorial page.
I am not always on FAG. I WORK FULL TIME! If you send me a correction via EMAIL, I may not get to it right away. I have 30 days to make the necessary corrections.

|Wimsang||Simmons Family Cemetery|
I saw your note on the Simmons Family Cemetery view. You wanted to know the location of the cemetery. It is at the corners of Park St. and Hwy. 78. A big overgrown vacant lot about 3 blocks from Main St. on Hwy. 78(heading towards Branchville) and I believe maybe 1 block up from the 1st Baptist church on the same side next to a big old white house. Hope this helps. Wimsang

This post is a duplicate of #69907676 entered on 5-16-11. Please delete yours.
I am processing the edits you sent for Mr. Spradley. You sent links for his Mother and Father. Your edit also removes a link to a wife, Rennie Eva Fulmer Spradley. Another contributor had submitted the link. They share a double grave marker. Was she not a wife? Thank you for your additional information.

|BoykinOwner||William Maurice Hart - please update|
My father was born October 31, 1920 in East Orange, NJ. He was the son of Erma Reese Hart and Wilson Taylor Hart. He died on February 19, 1993 in Columbia, SC. He was a loving father to his two daughters.
Please link him to his parents, spouse and brother John Evans Hart of Peachtree City, GA. I am new to FindAGrave, so if you need more information to perform the links, please leave me a message.
Thank you very much for putting his grave on this web site.

The provided obit/death notice has been added to his memorial.
|dennis gries||miriam briggs|
the obit has been entered together with full birth and death places
I live near the cem, and have entered all names on the memorial plaques not previously entered on Find A Grave. There are those who argue against obits. I feel that these are integral pieces of Find A Grave, with source acknowledgements, of course.
thanks for your help. Would "you like Miriam"

The date of death on her headstone reads Apr. 4, 1947. Do you have any documentation to support the difference in dates?
