Hi, yes I am, on mothers' side of the family (Dana) I have the old "pedigree" book handed down to me which has entries going back beyond General Dana to Gov Thomas Mayhew, 1631
I uploaded some scans from that book to the Geni site a while back https://www.geni.com/home

Mark, I see you are doing a lot in the Jennings Family, I have a baby photo of George Carter Jennings. No other info, it was found in Pulaski County, Virginia, would you by any chance know of him, c. abt 1900. Many thanks for any help you may be able to give me.

Please remove the duplicate picture you added to Find A Grave Memorial# 95394082. There are already two clear readable headstone pictures on this memorial.

I'm doing some research on this person. Apparently, he owned a whole block around DC. Do you anything about this person?

Thanks for the reply. Your house certainly has quite a history! I unfortunately have no knowledge of and othe the Dana family members.
I have two pictures of my g,g,grandfather - none of Indiana. She died in 1849 so that could be why.
I would love an email copy of any letters my g,g,grandfather (Daniel Powers Whiting) wrote to his friend and brother-in-law Dana; I certainly wouldn't post their letters anywhere.
My first encounter with Lt Dana was in the book "Monterrey is Ours!" The two brother-in-laws in the US Army and the trials and tribulations they endured - Corpus Christi into Mexico. If you haven't read it, it's worth the time. The book jacket is a photo from one of the five lithographs DP Whiting did while in Mexico.
My great grandfather (Richard Gatlin Whiting) was named after DP Whiting's other brother-in-law, Richard Gatlin.
Thanks for your help.

I'm researching family genealogy and came across the picture you posted of Susan Sanford. My g,g,grandmother is Indiana Sanford Whiting, Susan's older sister. Can you tell me the source of Susan's picture? I'd like to see if there is one of Indiana.
Thanks for your assistance.

No problem Mark. If there are any others, just let me know.

Once you find Ralph's grave site you can ask that his original name be place under his current name. It is best to ask one of the named admins to add the original name. It shows up as small black lettering under the name section with the tag: Original Name.

I have that David Wentworth Potter and his wife, Marie Virginia Wells Potter, had one son, David Wells Potter, born May 11, 1935, in Passaic, New Jersey. He married Jeannette Sivertren, and they had three children.
