John Renta Baker
Valerie,

Recently I discovered the discrepancies in the dates for John Renta Baker. I saw that you said you were researching this in 2014. Have you come to any conclusions? There is a lot of speculation and confusion on his wife and his being confused with Col John Baker.

Hoping that you might be able to clear this up.

Thanks,

Debra Brown

RE: Sanford McCamick's tombstone
Hi Valerie - photo is of his headstone. It was given to my mother many years ago by a cousin. No other information was documented. Both are now deceased. As for the cemetery information I found it in the military information on line on ancestry. That is why I placed him were I did. Please let me know if I need to make any corrections in my great grandfathers information.

Click on the photo and it shows right. I've tried a bunch of times to get the thumbnail to show correctly, but I can't figure out why it doesn't.

I was looking at your photo request for him: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=105109848

I have searched the lot 2x and cannot locate a stone for him. According to the Forest Lawn lot register, his ashes were cremated and he was interred there. Maybe there is no stone?

Permission to copy headstone
I'm asking permission to use one of your photos from Find A Grave for Susannah "Susan" Hamilton Massey buried in the Freedom Cemetery, Science Hill, Pulaski Co, KY. She is the wife of one of my husband's distant cousins and we would like to include your photo of her headstone in our ancestry tree. Thank you for all your work with Find A Grave. Phyllis Nelson

Emaline Thompson Cummins
Valerie,

Are you related to Emaline somehow? I realized your last name was Thompson but that may have been but a coincidence... I just wondered because you seem to have a lot to do with the Cummins Family...

Emaline Thompson Cummins
Hello,

Emaline is my X3 Great Grandmother on my father's side and I was wondering how you knew she was buried in Rosebank Cemetery in Mulberry Kansas.

Because, she died out of Kansas in Kentucky I think. She would've had to had her body shipped here by her relatives, I personally, can't find a reason or a connection to why she'd be buried there.

The Mulberry Records burned in the '20s so there is no record of her being there. She has no stone whatsoever. I'm sure you had some genealogy backing the fact that she was buried there. I just wondered what it was.

My grandmother said she had heard stories from her parents that some of her father's family (Would've included Emaline) was buried in the old section of the cemetery, without a stone. But she can't remember who or where they are.

Please let me know. My Email is Kylehenegar221@gmail.com
