Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been working on genealogy since the late 1980s. I started out with only parents, grandparents and great grandparents. I now have over 40,000 names in my database which includes ancestors of extended family members. About ten years after starting my research, In the mid 1990s I was blessed to be able to find my birth-mother who was also interested in genealogy. She gave me the name of my late birth-father and off I went on new research for all my birth ancestors. I now have over 36,500 names in my database.

Some of the names are: Williams Allen Tibbets Patman Hammons Brown Rule Beville Bobbitt Patterson Tittle Triplett Swank Steele Yarbrough Harper Womack Wells Higgins Bradley Douglas Adams Cooper Oliver Joyce Cribbs Hood Wood Martin Garner Rasor Minker Spradling Carr Shenk Karffman Butlinger Lipper Ogg Bigger Wright Carey Haynes Powell Chamblin Ferguson Nelson Sims Burton Pride Harrison Harper Kidd White Martin Elbert Lewis Clark Jennings Kidd Elbert Burwell Hissinson Lear Basset Bedell Tokesy Pettitt Gladden Robbins Vaught Wheeler Haskins Willis Mayes Holt Boze Larrimore Widows Sprinkle Brevard Smith Wilson McKnitt Thatcher Thornburg Alexander Few Davis Hatfield McAnally Crum Hamilton Hollingsworth West Longacre Arthur Brooks Shewin Blacknail Bates Eloit Scarlett Ramsey Hicks Smith Broadway McGough Ward Turner Hall Hale Holmes Ward Turner Cabrio Horton Cornish Taylor Lee Meeks Cox Albritton Seale Acre Cole Bowman Castaldi Geleott Gelcott Evanoff Sandala Toth Buckner Soltis Kabala Kalyata Qurek Barnhill White Justus Bryson Vowel Justice Shoemaker Gammon Alcorn Tackett Fry Hall Faller Lawson Stewart Hodge Wolf Johnson Sanders Whitehead Campbell Knight Hanna Hogue Edwards Farris Loving Hollen Jackson Hill Hammett Kenamore Hammer Herrng Pipkin Horsey Ross West Woodson Hill Polk Hammett Jackson Barnes Huie Duke Godwin Barnes Pool Rife Parish Ogden Hawkins Brackett Pierpont Hatfield Batty King Hammer Garrison Fussell Raines Snell Mack Meeting Sisk Stanley Bond Kennedy Davis Hosmer Taylor Cowley Parsons

RE: Sue Green
Sammie, Thank you for trying. I am at the age, eeryone I ever knew is gone. I grew up in Winslow, Arizona and it was under the fall out from the Nevada test site. Half my high school
class was gone by 50 years of age. I am going back thi summer for a reunion and I am not sure I even want to. My grandmother died aat 92 and she told me once that the worse thing that could happen was living too long. I think she was right.

You are really special Sammie

Sue Green
Wow, I am glad you told me. And I am glad she knows that the photo of Bill and Maxine is him and not her father. Bill was a really nice guy. I wonder if you could find out what happened to Norman and Cheryl. I only talked to Cheryl once after her mothers death and she had just gone thru a divorce. I bet your Aunt Sue was nice too. And I was always glad Bill found someone to be happy with.

Thank you Sammie.

RE: Bill and Maxine Green
Sammie, i do not belong to Ancestry, wish I did. Whose tree was it that had all the photo's? I do have a few photo's and I know for certain the one you have is him. I was not going to say anything but since you sent the memorial to me, you put up another one for Bill as an old man. Guess that dates me too. You had an obituary sort of and a photo but also his second wife Sue was mentioned. You never saw Bill with out a cigar either. Maybe you can see the younger Bill with the older one. Thank you so much Sammie.

Bill and Maxine Green
You know I never saw what you put on the photo as to who they were. That is not Maxine's father, it is Bill. I have no idea what her father looked like. Maxine never mentioned her parents to me. I am pretty sure they were not married when that photo was taken. I don't remember if I ever thanked you for the memorials and for you sending them to me. Bill married a second time but I don't remember her name. Thank you Sammie, I had family problems and Maxine became everything to me.

Correction of William H Hammons
Hello, this is Carolyn Hammons Parr. Could you please make corrections to his memorial since you are the one who made it. Please take Frances Snipes off, solved that mystery. Also, in 1870, 4 Children are listed and 1880 Census, 6 children are listed, James is missing.

I posted the pictures from the Hollandale, MS cemetery.

Milton & Emma Carson Gammon
Hi! I was wondering where you got the photo of Milton and Emma that you posted on the memorial page. I have a copy of the same photo but your's looks like an original. Are we related? Milt and Emma were my grandparents. Paula Gammon Spalding

Sammie, who are you. Were you related to them? How can I find Cheryl? You have no idea how I loved them and the kids. I moved down the street from them in the early 60's in Albuquerque. Their kids were pre teens and I had a two year old. Can't tell you how close we all became. I just want to hear about Cheryl. I only found her to talk to her once since her mother died. Please, do you know anything you can tell me.

Civil war service
I believe your John J. Tibbitt to have been a member of Company B, DeMorse's Regiment, 29th Texas Cavalry. This man enlisted in 1862 in Cooke County, TX. There is also a casualty list in the Dallas Weekly Harold 6 Aug 1864 stating that JJ Tibbitt was wounded at the Battle of Massard Prairie in Arkansas
