My name is Laurel. I'm married and live in Central Texas. I am a member of Historic Texas Cemeteries, Facebook group and Find A Grave. I just enjoy visiting cemeteries, especially small, older cemeteries. I find a peace and tranquility there; I also find the history very interesting. I believe cemeteries don't just represent death; they also represent lives lived. I spend a great deal of time researching, attempting to link families together. I enjoy being able to find graves for other people, the joy that it brings to them. I personally am researching the Ioor/Joor family history after discovering three brothers buried at an old cemetery near my home. I am related to the Jones, Ritchey, Edge and Brymer families in Williamson County and Lee County. I also have my father's family at Pilot Grove Cemetery (Clark, Parker) and Hillcrest Cemetery (Allen) in Bell County. I have not added very many memorials, but I will consider transferring a Memorial, depending on the relationship. I hope that I can help you if you need a picture of a certain grave in my area. I'll do my best. Also, I typically add at least three photos to a memorial; if a member needs me to delete some of my photos, just message me and I will be happy to work with you.|

Because Benjamin is the spouse of my 2nd great-grandaunt, I don't have much info on his parents. But I did locate a TX Death Cert. for Nancy Caroline with the last name of Bray and her death in Snyder, Scurry, TX on 16 Oct 1921 with burial in Snyder Cemetery. There wasn't a memorial in this cemetery for her, so I have added it, #177605193.
Her last name was also apparently either Chamblee or Chamlee.
Hope this helps.
Hi, Not sure if you knew, but according to William Murry's death cert he is buried in Cotton Wood Cem. The closest Cotton wood cem that I know of is in Falls Co. That isn't too far from Coryell though.

Thanks for adding those photos

Oh, thank you so much for that information concerning the writing on his marker. He is my great uncle and although I never knew him of course, I love learning about my ancestors. I so appreciate your efforts in getting the pictures. I hope to get to the cemetery at some point-your picture will make his stone easy to locate. I have never known much about my Covington ancestors so this is like reading a good book! Can't wait to open another chapter!
