I've been into genealogy for some 50 years and have never lost interest in helping myself and others find their roots. I find it a huge mystery game with many surprising discoveries.|
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE... WHEN SENDING ME A MESSAGE ABOUT A SPECIFIC INDIVIDUAL, KINDLY INCLUDE THE MEMORIAL NUMBER. I OVERSEE TOO MANY MEMORIALS FOR THIS OLD MIND TO REMEMBER. THANKS.
TRANSFER REQUESTS: Please request if you are really a relative and will do something constructive with the memorial. If you are just a close friend, etc., the same goes for you. I will never refuse a request for valid reasons.
CORRECTIONS: additions, & family links when asked but no promises if you just send me an email instead of using the edit link. Use the Edit tab at the top right of memorial, then the Suggest A Correction option. Now we have the auto edit request and permission ability so that makes it easier. You can upload your pictures directly to the memorials, but PLEASE take pride on what you enter. Photos should be carefully composed and submitted with the highest resolution that FAG will accept.
I believe everyone prefers a typed Bio to be entered through the Bio button on the memorial page. If at all possible please transcribe the newspaper Bio and send it through the Edit button rather than attaching a photo of said Bio. I will gladly enter it in the proper location on the memorial.
IF YOU WANT TO ADD INFO TO MEMORIALS OF MEMBERS OF MY OR MY WIFE'S FAMILY, I MAY ASK YOUR SOURCE OF THAT INFO.

Find A Grave Memorial# 47717014
My husband's family are descendants of William and Polly (Connell) Duncan.
The dates I have match the dates on your memorial.
My information has the location of death for William as Bedford, Trimble, Kentucky. I do not have a grave site for William. This was gathered early in my research, so I do not have the source of this information.
I would be interested in knowing your source for the place of death for William. Medicine Lodge, Barber, Kansas.
Thank you for any information you can give me.

Is it possible for you to send me my update to this grave so I won't have to look up the info again? I received your email that I need to contact someone else.
Thanks, Patricia Kinzie (email@example.com)

I sent updates to add info to this memorial. I found the name in the burial book abstract as "Verlie".
|Nancy Ann Mull Buchanan||Sadie Stover & Eva Stover|
Eva Stover is buried right next to Sarah (Sadie) Stover in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newark, Licking County, Ohio.

Your e-mail bounced--here's what I tried to send you:
William Bonham's wife was my great-grandfather's second cousin. It would be great to have a Descendancy from the two of them, to fill in many blanks in that part of my Wright family. Eunice Mae Bonham was my paternal grandmother's third cousin, as were her brothers and sisters. I'll be adding Bios in the coming months, so will send you what I have.

|Shirley H ||William Reutter|
I went to the Stafford Baptist cemetery to look for your William Reutter. I found three stones with the name Reutter. Two small ones were for Minnie and Louise. One large stone only said Reutter. The cemetery lists 4 Reutters, Minnie and Louise spelled Reutter and Jo and William spelled Ruetter. I believe the online cemetery listing , compiled in 2001 is in error, and the name of all these folks is spelled Reutter. The large stone with only the name Reutter does not include any other information. There may have been smaller companion stones now sunk under, there may have been inscriptions now eroded away etc. There was damage to the large Reutter stone and it's been calked to preserve it. My hunch, by process of elimination, is the large Reutter stone is your William but I can't be sure. I did not claim the request, but if you want to assume the large Reutter stone is his, I'll claim and upload the picture. Also, the plot and row layout of this cemetery makes no sense. Everyone has a hard time finding anyone in this cemetery. Missing inscriptions make it impossible. Shirley in Oregon

The book (manuscript) is currently with UNT Press, Denton, TX for review and hopefully publication. The title, unless changed is "Watering The Drags, W. E. Connell, Prince of cattle & Banking in West Texas." To be in print sometime next year.
