I am a native Texan. I was born and grew up in the Taylor TX area and moved to Austin in 1959. I stumbled upon the FindAGrave site while researching my family. I am a volunteer photographer and find it very rewarding to help by taking pictures.|

|Nancy Carter||Parentage of William Patrick McDavid|
Elmira Taylor, marr Scott, McDavid and Charles Cunningham. This memorial has put Elmira as a McDavid, which is not correct, as she married the MccDavid son listed two children down from her. Those listed as siblings and parents are those of her husband.

Thank you for the friendship, Helen!!
Would you please transfer the above to me. He is my uncle. I would like to add his relatives and other info to the site. Thank you.

Although the obituary has the named spelled Seenia, I believe it it an error as the grave marker has Scenia. Best wishes, joe

Thank you for continuing to look for my aunt. I appreciate it so much. I do not know where she is buried; I'm beginning to think that she may have been cremated - as a few of her siblings were. Again, thank you for your time and effort. - Debbie Burks
|GoneToTexas||William F. Snider|
Thank you so much for posting the wonderful information about William Snider. I had a question, though... you wrote,
"Martha Jane died between 1896 (I have a picture) and 1900. William is listed as a widower in the 1900 census). The two moved to Palo Pinto County in 1890 and Martha Snider died there in 1905."
I'm guessing the "1905" is a typo?
