We do not link to burial unknowns.

Those who are retired from the armed services are permitted to continue to use their rank socially. Those resigning their rank/commission and being honorably discharged … are not permitted to continue to use their ranks after their service ends.

Verbatim obituaries will no longer be accepted with living relatives listed. As well as copy and pasted recent obituaries.

Memorials are transferred for relatives with these close relationships: child, spouse/partner, sibling, parent, grandchild, great-grandchild, grandparent, great-grandparent, niece/nephew, great-niece/nephew, aunt/uncle, great-aunt/uncle, or first cousin. This would include adoptive, step and in-law versions of these relationships.

Transfer requests left on the message board will be ignored. Follow these rules.
To request a transfer on the memorial in question, click on Contact Manager button and type your message to the memorial manager. Be sure to include your relationship to the person and any other reason for the transfer request. This message will be sent to the member, even if there is not an email address listed on their profile.

Edits should be accompanied with documentation unless it is obvious with information that is already on the memorial such as grave stone, obit etc. Please do not use someones family tree as documentation. And a census is not documentation.
