|Bio and Links|
I am originally from Royal Oak, Oakland County, Michigan, but I presently live in Plain City, Utah. My husband's kin are from Shiawassee, Clinton, Hillsdale, and Genesee Counties in Michigan, and in Vermont. Other lines go back to Ontario, Dutchess County, New York, and Kent, England. |
My father's kin, (McClelland) go back to Wigtownshire, Scotland, and before that, County Londonderry, Ireland. His Collins line is from Limerick,and Kerry. Another line is from Newcastle, England, emigrating into Ontario, Canada, before emigrating to Michigan.
My mother is from Clydebank, Scotland, and her lines go back to Donegal, Ireland, and Linlithgow, Falkirk, Perth, and the Isle of Islay in Scotland.
I am very involved in Family History and enjoy photographing and contributing to Find a Grave. I have researched many of the people that I have uploaded, using the links to connect with with others on the Family Tree.
I LOVE to transfer memorials to others that are more closely related than I. Please don't hesitate to ask. I am open to making corrections or additions. If you would like to replace my photo for yours, I am VERY HAPPY to take mine down. I am happy to accommodate in any way.

Photo's uploaded - let me know if I can help any further.
Did your line go through Simcoe County in Ontario?
|Jane Hodgson||memorial 82400959 for John Reoch|
I was wondering if you knew where the bio info for John Reoch came from since the tombstone reads he was born in 1838 and the bio says 26 dec 1846.
|Glenlivet||RE: Gillon graves again|
I have deleted the five duplicate "Gillons." Let me know when you have the matter sorted, and I can upload the photo's again
|Bonnie Headley||Samuel and Fruma Epstein Mount Hebron Cem Ny|
I am wondering if anyone knows if the Samuel and Fruma Epstein buried in Mount Hebron NY Cemetery are married? I found them from viewing the names on TVFTH site.I see Barbara that you are listed as a friend. I couldn't figure out how to leave him a message. Could you please ask him my question and see if he knows if they are married? Thanks, Bonnie
|Kelly Dunlap||Mary & Lewis Letts|
In all your years of work, have you come across a Lewis Letts, who was married to the below Marry? Robert Dunlap married second Mary, widow of Lewis Letts and mother of Elizabeth Letts (Elizabeth Letts, b. 15 Oct 1793, South Amboy, Middlesex, New Jersey), who married her step-brother, Thomas Dunlap. I have not been able to locate the burial place for Mary or Lewis. It is said that Robert buried Mary with Lewis in what is now Tompkins County, New York.
I am descended from both his first and second wives, Nancy Giles and Mary’s daughter Elizabeth.
Thank you for any help you can give me.
Thank you so much Barbara Jean. Thanks for all your work for others. A lovely gift.

|Meredith Small||MASSEY family gravestone, St Giles, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffs, UK|
It's lovely to meet a fellow-genealogist and taphophile in my quest to photograph and transcribe as many local churchyards and cemeteries as possible!
I am just dropping you a line to let you know I've suggested some edits to the above family records in your care. You may note that the date of one of the deaths (the year) is different to that you've recorded. I imagine you have other information to the contrary, so I just thought I'd let you know that the church records which have been transcribed at this link freereg2.freereg.org.uk/search_records/5818df7ae93790de6a2b3bc0?search_id=58a36fa0791e3b768966622f reflect the gravestone which I photographed in it's new location this week.
You have a great photograph already, but I hope you don't mind me adding my own. The grounds of the church were recently re-landscaped to create room for parking and other uses.
If I can ever do more research or photography for you please let me know - I live locally and work around the corner from St Giles church.
Best wishes and many thanks for your passionate contributions to this great website!
