I am temporarily without email. I'll take this down when I'm back online.|
In accepting management through sponsorship of the 58,986 memorials created by my friend, Marjorie, I intend to honor her memory. A loving, dedicated person, she made significant contributions to Find A Grave through all the records she and her husband collected over the years. She is remembered well by all of her Find A Grave family.

Please know that I am only transferring memorials per Find A Grave guidelines:
"Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren."
It also states: "Please remember that there are thousands of contributors to Find A Grave, and it is highly likely that some of those contributors will actually be part of your family tree and share some of your ancestors.
Also, the goal is not to "own" every memorial of those to whom you are related. The ultimate goal is to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it."
Please use the "EDIT" tab on any memorial page for edits and corrections.

I was so grateful when a kind person photographed my infant sister's gravestone! Find A Grave is all about helping others and honoring those who have gone before us.
Grant County and Otter Tail County, Minnesota memorials are my main focus.
God bless you all.

|DeB-Knu||RE: Tena Oleana Knudson|
Thank you so much for responding! I would love a photo of the grave marker. I know that her mother gave birth to 8 children, 6 still living in 1900. Your entry into Find a Grave was the first hint of the one deceased child's name. The other deceased child I assume to be Martin, age 1, who appears in the 1870 U.S. Census but in no census after that. That is the only information that I have been able to find on him.
Again, thank you!

I see the information you added for Tena. Did you get that information from a headstone. I am trying to find out where I can obtain information on her. Johan and Signe Knudson were my great, great grandparents.

Hello! yes, I will take the obit down now that you have it transcribed. The obit is part of a bunch of clippings that I have and doesn't have any newspaper info included-just that it's from a paper around the Dallas, Oregon area.
|kellie stocker||Edward Gibney|
My name is Kellie Stocker and my 3rd great grandfather is Edward Gibney born 1839 and died 1896. I was wondering if you would be so kind as to transfer his memorial to me at email@example.com. There are no immediate living relatives left in the family. I would greatly appreciate it. I was also wondering if you had any other documents on Edward such as an obit. Thanks so much hope you can help by transfering.

It has been brought to my attention that there is a double posting for Paul Allen Engelstad # 150423003,
your's being posted before mine. I ask if you might consider deleting your entry as I am the maternal grandmother of his three youngest children.
|Rose||RE: Libbie Baker|
I'm glad to do it, if I find info. Those older obits from before 1900 are interesting, and those are the original settlers most of the time.
You don't have to credit me for any of them, since I am not related.

I think it's wonderful you've taken over management of your friend's graves. This is the collaboration that I think was envisioned in Find-A-Grave: Someone's lifetime work will continue to be maintained. It needn't be a relative. Good work!
