My wife Terri and I no longer volunteer for Findagrave in Washington County Oklahoma due to reasons we will refrain from explaining. We will continue working on our family and friend's memorials. If we have entered a memorial of one of your loved ones, family or friend, let us know and we will always consider transferring to your care. We are still loyal supporters of Findagrave. Interestingly enough, the negative cause of our no longer volunteering here in Washington County actually helped redirect our volunteering in another area. We enjoy the new challenge immensely. So to those who are happy we no longer work in your cemeteries, thank you for helping us redirect our efforts. To those who still volunteer in local cemeteries, we are still here to help you.|

I would like to correspond with you regarding my research in to the Bolender and Butler families for my friend (who is a Butler). I have hit a wall and would appreciate any assistance that you might be able to provide.

I am looking in to a friends family heritage for him and he has a Daniel Bolender married to a Mary Ellen. He remembers that the couple came out of Lewiston, Illinois in 1876. Later Lilly and John H. Butler were married in Delta, Colorado on July 13, 1895 by a Presbyterian minister named Joseph Laney Lower. Their first baby was Mary, my Dad was John Daniel Butler, born Jan. 3, 1906. Dad had another sister Ethel Rozella, born Feb. 22, 1908, brother Jesse L. born Nov. 6, 1902. Sister Orrie Jewel, born August 13, 1910. There was another sister named Sadie.
He doesn't have much to go on and I was inquiring to see if you could provide any assistance with this family.
Thank you for considering this request.

Hello to you and yours, hope all is well...
I would like you to know that I'm tracing my family on Ancestry and ran across your link. I would have loved to see pictures, but I wont picky. :-D
From being an only child NOT growing up with family just my 4 children I can now share some history with my children. They too have wondered about family on my side, so again I thank you for the time that you have shared on my Great Great Grandfather York who was born about 1845 in Tennessee as well as my Great Great Grandmother Frances Patterson who was born about the same time in Nowata Indian Territory.
They had I believe 9 or more children:
Nancy Washington 1864
Joanna Bird 1865
James Patterson 1866
Ella Duncan 1875
Julie Lowe 1876
York Albert 1887
I was able to find “some” info on some after the link from your post, so again I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I guess we also have a cemetery in the family(?) per your message with the link. Again I thank you for your time and please continue to be a blessing for others. Xo :-D
