Transfers, I do them. I will also make changes for anyone who presents me with information about how they acquired the info. But please ask using the edit tab on the memorial page you want.|
I am Nan on the left. That is Patty, my partner on the right. We grave together. You should see her with a camera. She can leap from the car and have over a hundred photos in less than 30 minutes. Then I do all the computer work.
My family is from two small towns just 7 miles from each other. It did not seem that close when they met. People in that part of MS were thought rich in the 40's if they had a car.
My great-grandmother was born Nancy E Wilson and married a Floyd. My grand mother was born Evie Floyd. My grandmother Evie Lemons is the reason I got into genealogy. I wanted to know about her and her mother Nancy E. Wilson Floyd. After searching and searching. I finally learned that she was married to the brother of Leoni Floyd who married Thomas Miller. She and Thomas became widowed about the same time and helped each other out for a bit. I still have a lot to learn.
Patty, my partner, connected to the Crawford, Hallman, Cunningham, Burford families,
I am connected to the Lemons, three different Wilson families,Floyd, Goolsby and Rhodes.

You have a note "husband of May Watts" - It is my understanding that Dorothy (my first cousin) died as an infant.

Greetings Nan and Patty,
This person is my grandfather’s sister. I submitted an edit last week to connect her to her father John Oscar McBride; Find-a-grave memorial # 89268682. Would be so kind as to review my edit and accept the connection? I would also be interested in having the memorial transferred to my care provided you are willing. I am Find-A-Grave member, Johnathan McBride (#48891639).
Thank you so much for the work you have completed as it is a big asset to those of us who love researching our past and respecting our family’s heritage.

The mother linked is wrong mother. Obit dates and mothers dates conflict Most women don't have babies at 70. Can you remove mother ? Is more like to be grandmother
|Stephen Lemons||RE: Lemons Family|
Did you ever find out any more about your Lemons' ancestors who lived in SC?
|Debra Smith Grubbs||Transfer Request|
Would you please transfer my aunt and uncle to my care. They are Lena Ethel Smith Summers #70642869 and Wayne S. Summers #70642865. Thank you, Debra Smith Grubbs
Could you please transfer the folks in Crump Cemtery, Marshall County to me? The cemetery is located on my property and I would like to add to their information as I get it.

I just want to tell you that the story of your family on this memorial page was so interesting and so well written. It just griped my attention and I read every word. I had just made a page for George Ray Lemon and since there were not many Lemon's I was just checking to see if I might find his spouse, when I clicked on the page of James Willie Lemons. It would be lovely if every veteran had such a nice addition to their page. Thank you for adding it.

2 graves, 1 marker, same dates.
You added James Marian Jackson, Dean Cemetery, Marshall County MS.
But it seems his gravesite?(maybe) is actually Hillcrest Cemetery, Marshall County MS.
Memorial # 11734406 is the Hillcrest site with picture.
Memorial# 64995269 is the one you guys added.
Since everything jives as far as dates, do you have any evidence that James is buried in one vs the other? Thanks!

I left numerous messages requesting that you link
Gilbert with his family. He is the last one I have been working on tirelessly to give him his rightful place with his family.
Please, Please, Please, link Gilbert. I have left all the information on his memorial. I am the one who requested a photo of his memorial and thankfully
a kind contributor was able to fulfill the request.
If you would please consider transferring him to me
I would like to give him all the memorial he deserves. West-Boyce-Whitaker family tree. ancestry.
