I grew up in Tompkins County, NY. Most of my family and several generations were from Cayuga County, NY. I do enjoy walking the cemeteries and taking photos of the headstones to share. When I walk a cemetery where my relatives are buried and see the other headstones, I can only wonder if they knew my ancestors. Perhaps they held their hand during a difficult time or bought them chicken soup when they were ill - I can only imagine. I know where I will be buried and I knew people who are buried there and I know people who will be buried there and am comforted that I will be among many family and friends who have been a part of my life. Now I wonder, did my ancestors know others buried near them too? In regards to Find a Grave - to soon people are forgotten and what a wonderful way to memorialize them and share their lives.|

Thanks so much for all you do...I am grateful for people like you who put a name to a grave site.
Margaret Marrow is my Great great Grandmother from England George, John, Thomas and Tomie are her children. Catherine Morrow is her sister-law. Margaret married William Marrow(Buried in Ithaca) in Tompkins county in 1856. William's Brother Thomas married Catherine and settled in Lansingville with His brother. All of the Marrow family members had their name change to Morrow by the beginning of the 1900's.

|EAF||Helena "Lena" Frances McDermott Kline|
Helena "Lena" McDermott, born 1920, married Bernard Kline. You will note on the photo of the gravestone that she had not passed when her name was put on the stone with her parents. I will determine from cemetery records where the remains are places...with the McDermott stone or the Kline stone.

Thanks for your note. No, I'm not a relative-- just trying to add info where I can. If these are folks of yours, and I manage any of the memorials, please request a transfer and I'll be happy for transfer.
Thanks for the help, on the proper way to get the transfers(others were not so helpful).
|Karl Miller||children of Wm Bradley and Tabitha Hamlin|
I have a list of the children of William Bradley and Tabitha Hamlin from Tabitha's family bible if you would like to add that to the findagrave listing
is your Cornell email still the same?
|jsmycs||RE: Minnie S Cornell Walker|
I obtained the obituary for Minnie S Cornell Walker, as I suspected, she did not die in Los Angles as indicated in your memorial, whoever sent you that information was incorrect. Also, I believe her birth is incorrect, in the 1900 US Census, it states that she was born in July 1874, not September 28, 1874.
let me know how you want to proceed from here

|jsmycs||Minnie S Cornell Walker|
I found Find A Grave memorial #104994133 for Minnie S Cornell Walker. My question is how sure are you of her death date and place. It seems Los Angles would not be logical for her death, when her husband Warren died in Cayuga County, New York
I would appreciate clarification.
