Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am retired, 81 yrs old, live in San Benito, Cameron County, South Texas.
I started adding mostly my relatives and connections. Feel free to contact me if you want more information on them. More recently I have added entire cemeteries. Please also feel free to contact me and let me know if I have posted an error, or if you want to add something to one of my postings.
The summer of 2011 I took 1900 gravestone photos in cemeteries in South Dakota where many cousins are buried. Nov 2012 I finished posting them all.
I will transfer ownership if I have one of your close family and you wish to maintain it. If you want to request a transfer or a correction, please use the edit feature on the memorial. That saves me a lot of time finding them, and gives me your number.

RE: Adolph Abraham
I've explained in the picture captions for both Helen and Adolph, that they do not have a stone marker and that the grass area is their location.

Eva Brown 1874-1960 in NY
Death date is wrong, see obituary notes below:
I knew I had seen Eva Brown's obituary on something. Its on a document that Mark had given to me - the interview Clifford gave to the Red Cross worker about the Lost Battalion.

Here it is in a nutshell: Eva died at the age of 86 on September 23, 1960 at Jamestown General Hospital. She was born in the Town of Ellery on March 28, 1874, the daughter of Ambrose and Gennie Robbins Rhodes. She spent her early life in the town of Ellery and lived 51 years on the Blockville-Panama Road. She was the widow of Hudson Brown, who died August 28, 1939. She was a member of the Panama Methodist Church, its W.S.C.S. and the W.C.T.U. and a Golden Sheath member of the Panama Grange.
Surviving are two sons Clifford R. Brown of Jamestown and Willis E. Brown of Ashville. Two daughters, Mabel Sadd of Manassas, VA and Mrs. Maude Button of Ashville.
Besides her husband, one son, Marion Brown, preceded her in death April 5, 1958.
She was buried in the Fluvanna Cemetery.

Mary Virginia Forester Parmer #81138202
Dear George,
Noticed that you are maintaining the memorials of quite a few distant family members in my husbands family that are in different cemeteries. Wondering if you are related to Mary Virginia (Forester) Parmer? If so, it is through the Forester line? Great job on the memorials and pictures! Thanks for taking the time to share and do so much work. I'll be sending you the link for her father's memorial shortly. Her mother, Catherine (Finley) Forester died sometime prior to the 1900 Federal Census being taken and haven't been able to locate the actual date or any information on where she is buried. Mary Virginia had one sister Anna Forester born in 1874. No further information on her sister, or where she is buried. Thank you!

RE: Josephina Flores Ochoa
Thank you for the response. I do not see the name variation on my end.

The correct spelling of her name is Josefina Flores. That is her birth name. Her married name is Josefina Ochoa.

Can you please transfer the memorial to me? She is my great aunt. I would like to maintain it.

If this isn't the proper way to do this pls let me know. I have been a contributor but never requested a transfer of memorial or name change.

Thanks for all your hard work!

re: Emery Purdy of Red Whig, MN
The Purdy line is one of my family lines. Emery Purdy, who is son of David E. and Eliza A. (Hopkins) Purdy, who came up to Enfield, Tompkins Co., NY in the early 1800's from White Plains, Westchester Co., NY...(not Bronx which is part of New York City) David and Eliza had 12 ch. one being Emery who was born 8 October 1818 (not 1820, as he has a sister, Susanna Charlotte Purdy, b. 17 December 1820.) I hope this helps.
I am looking for any info on his brother, Ebenezer, whom is said to have died in Red Whig, MN

Moses, Infant boy
The boy would have been my sister in law's uncle.
How did you locate the 2 death records? I am interested in citing the source for our records.

RE: David Robbins
Hi George,

My appears William Newell Robbins is in fact the older brother of my grandfather, Herman Robbins. Neither my mom nor my aunt has ever heard of him, so he is a bit of mystery to our family!

Here is the information you need for siblings Herman and Alice:

Herman Hester Robbins
Born: December 2, 1922
Harlingen, Cameron County, TX
Died: December 16, 1990
San Antonio, Bexar County, TX
Buried: December 19, 1990
Chapel Hill Memorial Park, Bexar County, TX
Father: Henry Wesley Robbins
Mother: Florence Ethel Wright Robbins
Married to: Pauline Maybelle Newby Robbins (who died Aug. 11, 2008 and is buried with him at Chapel Hill Memorial Park)

Alice Frances Robbins Fryer
Born: April 13, 1928
Harlingen, Cameron County, TX
Married: George Glenn Fryer
Died: November 6, 2013
San Antonio, Bexar County, TX
Buried at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery (George Fryer is buried there as well)
Father: Henry Wesley Robbins
Mother: Florence Ethel Wright Robbins

Thank you for your help in adding my grandfather and his sister as siblings,

Judith N.
