Bio Photo A small group of members from the Prince Rupert Genealogy Club are attempting to photograph every grave in the local cemetery and post these to the cemetery index we have submitted to FAG. As genealogists we appreciate this kind of information others have offered and are pleased to be able to contribute 'in kind'. Our club meets the first Tuesday of most months at the Prince Rupert library at 7:30pm

RE: Bell E. (BARDEN) QUICK
Thank you for posting my mother Bell's portrait. Her picture was taken in Prince George, BC on May 12, 2004, her 84th birthday. Bell was born, 1920, in Hansard, BC, 3rd of 9 children born to Margaret Burke (nee GOWDIE) 1.BARDEN 2. BOTRAKOFF. Bell, 21, arrived in Prince Rupert to marry Dec 31, 1941 and became a member of Prince Rupert's 'over 75 in the city more than 50 years' group. Life member of the Rebecca Lodge. UFAWU. Bell wrote poetry and could sing. 'Bell and Harry raised 4 sons in Prince Rupert. Sadly Bell passed away in Prince George, 3 1/2 months prior to her 94th birthday. Still missed, greatly loved.

Your efforts to show respect and help keep memories alive are appreciated

Missing information
Memorial #52677093 for Rutherford Murray shows a birth date of "unknown" in the stats, but has 1882 on the stone.

Thanks for the work you're doing to add to our knowledge here.
