For any corrections please use the edit tab.

And yes you can post obituaries.

I love how people leave you a message stating you won't do something. First an email was sent to an email that I don't use and isn't on my contributor page then they don't even wait three days from that email to post a message on your contributor page how they will go to findagrave because you didn't jump to their command. I never said I wouldn't do it, but please give a person a chance to make the correction. I made a duplicate which was by accident. I honestly try to make sure it doesn't happen. I do forget to look for "unknowns"
Not all of us have the time to spend 365 days a year, seven days a week, 24 hours a day on findagrave. Please lighten up and at least give a person a chance. We can't all be perfect !

*Just a note this person has entered 781 Prunty and of those 332 are unknown burial information, makes it easy when you're working on a certain cemetery to overlook someone postings of "unknowns". This way you find out the information for them and then they go to findagrave saying you made a duplicate and won't delete it.*

Just being honest would have been nice, "I want to thank you for finding the information on where this person is buried when I posted their memorial I had no idea where they were buried so I made their memorial burial unknown, now that we know would you mind deleting yours ? I can see how the duplicate was made.

Kindness goes along way.

I sent it through the edits twice. I sent this last one on Monday because of no response for the other two. I want to thank you for all of the work you did on the Prunty's in NV. They are my cousins and I am working on them now. I went to the NV History Museum last Saturday in Reno and got some info and pictures of them in the research center...very exciting! I don't know if you are aware, but Ancestry took over findagrave and they are redoing the software. It will look completely different and we'll have to retrain ourselves on how to use it.

When I search to see if the memorial is on here, I never use the state because if the burial is put in as unknown, it won't show up in the search. I use the name and either birth or death year. Sometimes I look for relatives to see if they are attached to them. Still, some are still really hard to find.

Mark's Mom, this memorial is a duplicate of mine from 2016, nbr 156715557. Since you won't remove it, I am asking findagrave to do it. You can add her DC to mine if you wish.

Hi,
Could you add the following web address to this site? Hoping family will find it. Thanks. James.

Hi!

I would very much like to use your lovely photo of Wilhelmina's grave marker on her WikiTree profile but don't want to do it without your permission. I would, of course, give you full credit

Thanks!
Deb

J. Thomas Brady at Lone Mt Carson City
I noticed you posted a copy of the death certificate of John Thomas Brady and wanted to thank you. I have a copy of it, but I know there are other family members who do not, so this is just wonderful.

Are you related to the Brady's? They are my great-grandparents. If you are related, I'd love to speak with you. There are only a few of us left in this branch of the family, and I'm trying to track down not only graves, but also living relatives so we can piece together more of the family history. My Mom was the Brady (Betty Jeanne), but she died more than 30 years ago, and we've lost so much family history.

Please feel free to contact me. I can share what info I have on the family after the move to California.

I've transferred the memorial back to you. The system wouldn't let me delete it, as that can only be done by the original owner of the memorial.

Thanks, Steve

You transferred this grave in the Jarbidge, Nevada Cemetery to me. I can find no corroborating record to establish that any person with this name was buried in the cemetery. Would you delete, please?
