I have been working on my family tree since about 1976 and began work on my husband's family after we married in 1984. I worked for several years surveying cemeteries around where I grew up in Jefferson County, Alabama. I have also collected thousands of obituaries for people in my family tree. If you find a memorial I have posted and need an obituary for that person, please contact me. If I have it, I will be glad to share.|

Hi Kim, you would be my geneological hero if you had an obituary for any of the 3 Eikers listed in Jefferson County at Warrior Cemetery, particularly William Eiker. Hope to hear from you!

Griffin Daily News and it had to be a couple of days after his death but I don't know the exact the date. I hope this helps!

My great grandfather and mother are buried in Morris cemetery in Morris Alabama. I am going to be in that area in August. I am looking for some help in locating their exact location in the cemetery. Is there some way to do that? My Great grand[parents names are William Carlisle and Mary Francis Walton
I was wondering if you could send me the picture of Polly Reid? I was trying to blow it up but couldn't. I wanted to look at it closer!
Thanks for your help!!
|Stan Reid||William Reid d. 1851|
I am descended from him. Mary "Polly" Reid was her father. I have just discovered that his first place was south of Trafford, literally at the end of Cato Road. His second place was southwest of Warrior by a few miles. His wife likely died while they were living at or around the Trafford place. We have no idea what her name was. If anyone has run across William, etc., any information would help. Thanks! Stan Reid, Austin, Texas
I was wanting to visit Hogeland cemetery in Warrior but there are no directions how to get there. I saw you took the photographs for some graves and was wondering if you could let me know where it was? Thanks!

I have changed her maiden name to McCombs and thanks for the correction.
Thank you for your inquiry regarding the link from Paris Watson's memorial (number 136410971) to his parents' memorials. I collect and research obituaries dating back as far as the 1920's, so his 1968 obit may have been my source. I will find his obituary to confirm. I did find that S.T. Watson is listed as Paris Watson's nearest relative on Paris' World War I draft registration card.
Also, Find A Grave shows a memorial for Parris Cole Watson (1867-1933), but I do not know if he is related to Paris Cole Watson (1899-1968). It is a unique name, so there may be a relationship. Meanwhile, I will delete the parental links until additional information confirms or refutes Paris' parentage.
