RE: Pvt Roman Ovenburg
Good evening!
I went to the cemetery today and found Roman's family plot. I was pleased to find a headstone for Roman. Although it's not a military marker, it does note his military service. Just wanted to let you know that the photos are posted. I may send you some edit requests for him.

PS Thanks for taking a look at the information for Alban W Purcell. In addition to feeling that our veterans should be paid special attention to, I thought his information was particularly interesting as he seemed to have many different facets to his life. Did you happen to see that one of the actors he was in a supporting role to was John Wilkes Booth? Ironic. Yes, could be another one, but ... And, no, that's NOT why I referred you to the article. I just happened to notice it while I was reading after I clipped.

Strickland families
I used to live in Wake County, and remember seeing the Strickland name scattered around north Wake County, near Raleigh. Also there is Strickland Rd, that runs from Falls of Neuse out west towards the airport, with a few Stricklands scattered about. Good luck in your research.

Re: Neffie Bradsher (#129672760)

Two weeks ago, I photographed the Eno Primitive Baptist Cemetery in Durham NC. One of the stones was Neffie O'Briant Bradsher (Nov 24, 1886-Aug 11, 1975) that was beside several other O'Briant relatives. I noticed a child link for her on her mother's memorial that led me to your memorial for her in Mount Level Baptist Church cemetery. You have a picture of her stone that looks identical to the one I saw at Eno.

Did you actually photo the stone at Mount Level? I know she is not buried in both cemeteries and don't want to create a memorial for her in Eno and cause duplicate problems if we can resolve where she actually is. There are no O'Briants in Mount Level and also no other Bradshers (she was divorced I think).

BTW, there is a duplicate memorial in Mount Level for her that was created after yours.
