I'm working on New Hope Cemetery at Dardanelle. Could you tell me where Lima Faye Piercy's parents are buried?

Enoch Garner
I was searching for Enoch Garner (1764-1834) who married Winnie Pope (1768-1850). Winnie is buried in Parks Cemetery, Scott Co, AR. They are the parents of Elijah F. Garner (1815-1867), my great great grandfather. Elijah and his wife Mariah and Winnie came to Yell County about 1840. I have not been able to locate a burial site for Enoch. I was wondering if you had anything in your records about him.

RE: Thank you
The relative that I am most sure of who is probably buried there is my great grandmother Sarah M "Sallie Ann" Cole Yandell. I have been unable to find where her husband, Samuel Yandell is buried either, but as he died in Texas during the last of the 1930's--he may be buried there. I am related to the Yandell's who are buried there, and If I remember correctly, at least one Emerson, maybe more. At least 2 of the Townsend daughter's who moved to the area around the 1870-s are buried somewhere in the area, but I do not know where--one married a Fennell, another a Wilkins, and another a Smith. I have been working on another branch of my family and coming back to the Townsend-Yandells now and then--the Garners are relatives through a Townsend marriage, and I grew up hearing stories of the Garner's and seeing that stone surprised me, but made me feel good--do I understand that you are resonsible for a stone being there? If so--thank you very much--what I remember of this cemetery is the feeling of sadness when I saw all the rocks marking graves. My guess is that there are few records of who is in the cemetery???
I have one relative from my mother's side of my family, that I am working on, and plan to work on the Townsend-Yandells again--when I was there at the cemetery, I was just starting to work on my family and only had one day to visit as many cemeteries as I could--I hope to get back again--Thanks so much for responding --Loneta

Thank you
Thank you for the photo of Wyatt Garner's grave. I was just hoping that he had a stone, and he has a really nice one. I have a lot of relatives buried in Logan County, and so many have not had a marker, so many are lost. A few years ago, we visited the County Line Cemetery in Logan County, I found a number of my relatives buried there and I suspect that I have a good many more who are buried there that I have not found. When we were there, it was late in the day and there were a lot of light colored or white river stones marking graves--I know that some of those people are mine, I believe that my Yandell Grandparents may be there, but cannot be sure. Thank you so much--Loneta Townsend Boyer

Jameson's
OK, Been checking on them thar Jameson's(haha) and I wrote that L.M.Jameson was a brother to Ebenzer...WRONG !! It is his father, L.M. is a brother to MY Grandpa.. also back in 1970 when I went to visit Austin A. Jameson in Stigler,Ok., he took me out to the cemetery and he showed me where Ebenzer was buried. Also the stones that were made from 'sand stone' are on Melissa' grave and it has "Pool" as her maiden name. Now maybe she was married before ?????? Don't know. If you are interested in the Jameson side of the family, I have all my stuff on Ancestry.com under Jamison-Jameson.. lots of relatives there.. check it out.... Good Luck
