Bio and Links
Bio Photo My Name is Ronald A. Sykes, Sr, and have been working on my family History for over 40 years.

Any additional information, adding bio's, changing .or adding names, dates and location can be done, without asking me, by hitting the edit button.

With the new system of FaG, I OK the links, and changes, without question. However, this also means, I may or may not have linked or corrected memorials.

I am more than happy to any correct a problem, or link family members. As far as Transfer goes, please look at the rules set down by Find a Grave, before asking. I will take a look on a case to case basis, but normally follow those rules. Demands from, or rude people are always ignored. If you would like credit for something added, either put it in the bio section, or let me know and I will add it for you.

I normally make all requests within 24 hours. If not, don't worry, I will get to it. Sometimes, I take a day off, too.

AGAIN. I follow the rules of Find A Grave dealing with Transfers. I will make an exception on a case to case bases. However, those who are rude, or feel they have some kind of right, need not request.

You My permission to use any of my Headstone photo, for your personal use.

Thank you.
Thank you very much for updating the Kennedy family of Peone Cemetery, and linking them to their family in other cemeteries.

Agnes Greer Kennedy, Memorial# 33334489 is my 2nd great-aunt. I just locate her and I'm so happy.

I really appreciate your help.

Roy William Powers
Eunice L Powers is not the wife of Roy William Powers (Find A Grave Memorial# 8165336)

Roy William Powers is the husband of Maude Theola "Betty" Slagle (Find A Grave Memorial# 99196749)

I believe Eunice Powers was married to a Clarence G Powers.

Christina Chance Mount Hope Cemetery
Ron, you posted a tombstone for Christina Chance from the Mount Hope Cemetery in Spokane County on 9/11/2007. I am finding some confusion with records involving this woman. Would it be possible for you to find out more information from the cemetery records? Specifically, I am interested in her spouse, marriage date, and children. Would you know who to contact to see if there was an obituary from 1891? Are there other tombstones in the area who might be children? Or a spouse?

Thanks for any assist you can provide.

Sanuel E Hahn did not serve during Civil War
Regarding Samuel Ellis Hahn, # 50199964:
Samuel is the son of Edward I Hahn.
He was born 07-08-1861, which is exactly what is on his gravestone. There is a note posted with his memorial that says he served in the Civil War, etc. However, he could not have served in the Civil War as he was hardly born when it began.

You might want to take a look and remove it.

Thanks for all you do!

Edward A. and Frank Edward Simpson
Hi, The second photo you posted on the memorial for Edward A. Simpson, Memorial 20227722, is actually the tombstone for his son, Frank Edward Simpson. I have created a memorial for the son if you would like to move the photo. Thanks.

Rebecca Thornton Rounds 21663608
Thank you for all the work you do on Find a Grave. I am preparing a Mayflower Society application which requires proof of birth, marriage, and death for each generation. Rebecca Thornton Rounds Find A Grave# 21663608 was married to Rodney Rounds and he descends from two Mayflower passengers. Their descendants qualify for membership. I could use a picture of Rebecca's gravestone which has her birth and death dates but the current picture is not readable. I tried to enhance it in photo-shop but could not get the dates to appear. I am hoping you can either re-take the photo if you live nearby, or easier yet, modify the photo description to add the stone transcription with dates. I'm afraid the Mayflower Society will only accept actual readable stone dates, not what someone has typed into the date field as they cam sometimes be in error. I found the total cemetery survey on the Ewanida Rails website and it shows her dates and lot #81. If you feel comfortable adding a transcription I believe her headstone reads "Mother Rebecca S Rounds Dec 16, 1836 May 8, 1898". A third option is to request another photo be taken but many volunteer photographers (me included) do not like to add or override a previous photo. Thanks for your understanding.
