I have been working on my Van Riper-Lake-Whitmore tree for over 20 years. About 15 years ago, I started on my husbands Wilkinson-Christman tree. New Jersey is my prime research area. I have 2 grandmothers who came over from Sweden in the late 1800s. I have been spending a lot of time searching for their roots as well and happily went to Sweden and met cousins.
