Bio and Links
Bio Photo Additional information and corrections are very welcome. Feel free to use my headstone photos too, but photo credit would be nice.

If anyone wants to take over the management of their family member's memorial from me, just ask. As long as you're related to the deceased, that's good enough for me. Please remember to include your Find A Grave ID number when requesting the transfer.

Please do not post complete obituaries on my memorials (too many problems with people's privacy and copyright infringement). Paraphrasing the main points from an obituary is great, and I'm happy to add that if you forward it to me using the Edit tab.

And finally...

From the Amador Ledger (Calif.), November 2, 1900:
Title - THE TRANSLATION
On the gate of the cemetery in Rio de Janeiro is a notice in Spanish, French, and English that no dogs are admitted unless led by the owner. This is how the announcement is made in English: "Noble mesdames and gentlemen who may desire a dog to follow in this tombsyard will be permission unless him drawn by a cable round him throttle."

RE: Jack Cook
Thank you Kathie. I appreciate that you will check for a headstone. I'm not sure when I'll be in that area again.

RE: thanks!
I am making pretty good progress at the cemetery. Still have one big section to make it through and then all the cremation graves. We are a pretty small community here so it is interesting coming across relatives of people I have met over the years. Most I don't think are aware of Find A Grave so I want to give them an opportunity to provide more rich content for those memorials. But, first priority is getting them all logged. Thank you for your work on getting the memorials in.

Harumi Koki #153303042
Hi Kathie, thanks for the photo and edit to Harumi's memorial. After further research, it appears the birthdate on the niche marker is incorrect - I have added an explanation to his memorial to explain it.

Appreciate all the help,

Mark

USMC Sgt Michael Dougherty's Father
Hello
Just wanted to correct Sgt Michael Dougherty's Fathers name. I'm the nephew and was named after Uncle Mike. Michael Fathers name was Charles and his mother name was Nora. Ted was his older brother.

Sincerely

Michael Dougherty

Change Request for Memorial 130609830
Kathie: This memorial for Patricia Ann Ebersole Brown is my husband's (Denzil Lloyd Brown) first wife, the mother of 7 of his children. He is not internet savvy and requests I do all internet changes and emails for him. Please transfer this memorial to me (#47377777 - Ginny Brown) so we can add photos and correct name, birth and death info. Or you can do it: There is no "e" on Ann. Birth was Rohnerville, Humboldt, California, USA. Death was Carmichael, Sacramento, California, USA. Thanks for all your dedication to this important work. We work mostly in FamilySearch.org, but use Find A Grave extensively to help link families. I am also an indexer at familysearch.org and love the work!
