|Bio and Links|
Find a Grave is a great way to honor our ancestors who so bravely paved the way before us. They must not be forgotten.|
I have been interested in creating personal and historical links and remembrances to my ancestors, so almost every one of my memorials I have created are a part of my or my husbands family. I appreciate folks who generously transfer their memorials to family members. It makes it so much easier to add bios and make the links and corrections. If I have created an occasional memorial outside of our family, I will gladly transfer to their family members also. Just ask...make sure to give your member number and memorial number.
I have shared personal pictures & portraits and historical documents on many of my memorials and I give my permission to use these in your own personal memorials or family trees, but my personal photos are not to be used for publishing or monetary gain.
I would love to hear from family! Obituaries, more family photos and stories are very much welcomed! Happy hunting.

Thank you for your gracious message. I always appreciate opportunities to correct the record, and have spent time today identifying suspected duplicates. I did visit both graveyards several times to photograph stones in different kinds of light. It's great that you met with the deacon. I contacted the church but never heard back. Several local librarians tried to assist me, but again with limited success.
One source I used has some additional data. I plan to contact you through the Edit tab as I continue to sort through this. Accuracy is what matters most in this caring effort!

Thank you for your work on Find A Grave. Jesse Taylor was my 3rd great grandfather. I am researching to see if this is MY Jesse Taylor. Additionally, it has been passed down by my grandmother's Last Will and Testament; that he was related to the 12th President of the US Zachary Taylor. Thanks for any insight that you might have and your time.

Thank you for the lovely pictures that you posted of St Mary's and the Old Pine Church Cemetery. I have taken pictures of both locations...and saw the request for the Jesse Taylor (Taylar) and that there are two memorials on F-A-G...one in each cemetery. I contacted the person requesting the picture and was asked to put it on the site. I am now thinking of going to the local library and looking up particulars...if any are to be found. I was requesting a merger of memorials, but nothing has been done as of yet.
Again, thanks for all your volunteer work with F-A-G. And you are correct...it is a lovely area.

You are most welcome! Memorializing and photographing the Hayfork Cemetery was quite a project, one I enjoyed so very much. I traveled from California to Ohio this fall to find my family's graves in Delphos, so I know how far it really is! I took all the time I wanted and thoroughly enjoyed my day!

You are welcome. I don't recall the name but it has been a while since I had been at Union. Put a request in I will do a walk through at some point and see if I can find it.
