Families are like flowers they just keep on growing. By CTS.|
"Like branches on a tree, we all grow in different directions, but our roots keep us all
I have been working on my families trees for a number of years. Then I joined ancestry and found a great wealth of information. I also found findagrave and found more. I have found doing all
my family trees is a unending job. I add pictures of towns where they live, maps and anything else to make it my own creation.
All Pictures On my memorials I hold the original copies. Feel free to copy my pictures, but give
me credit for them. Thank You.

I appreciate any information you may have.
|Chad MacDonald||Hans Adam Troup|
You list Hans Adam as Samuel's father here on his grave site.
Hans would be my 4x great grandfather. My paternal grandmother was born Mary Francis Troup who was born to Frank B Troup who himself was born to Samuel C Troup.
Do you have any information regarding Samuel Sr's cause of death? Would you also have any information on Hans Adam? You list his birth as 1760 and date of death 1870. Is that correct? Was he really 110 years old? I can't seem to find anything on him.
|Robert Esch||Mary E Shetterly|
Her first husband James S. Troup was born 21 Nov 1861, and died 24 Feb 1903. You used one of the children's birthdate by mistake. Her second husband was George A. Shetterly, as shown on the stone. I believe Mary Elizabeth Rauch (Troup - Shetterly) was born in 1861 (not 1862) since she appears in the 1870 census at age 9, and her sister Lizzie was born in 1862 (Sept). Their parents were Peter Rauch 1839-1926 and Sarah Elizabeth Henney 1841-1917 (buried at Aline Cemetery), but Peter was buried in Hooper Nebraska where his daughter Carrie Mae Boyer lived. I have traced the Rauch family back to Germany in the 1500's. Best Regards, Bob Esch.
Good morning. I fulfilled your Bovee requests at Garfield in Grand Rapids, MI. As an FYI - I also added Lorraine to the cemetery with a picture as she is right next to Maude and David so I'm assuming she's their child.

Carolyn, Hi! One census shows her name as Penelope. I don't know her maiden name. Wish I could find it. I have ancestors from Pennsylvania and the Carys go back there.Nice to hear from you. Lucille Barnes Swank

I looked through the find a grave pages for Nichols in WA state and found William Albert who had a page already. He is buried next to Elizabeth. I will go back at some point to take a pic of Mary and Williams wife and make pages for them as they don't have one
