I live in Los Angeles, CA.|
I give permission to use any picture I have taken for Find a Grave for use for other programs, websites or genealogical purposes. After all, that's why we take the pictures, so people can use them for their families.
I will transfer NON-family memorials according to Find-A-Grave rules.
I will be more than happy to update memorials.
~A Poem for our Ancestors~
Your tombstone stands among the rest
Neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished marble stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood and bone
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so
I wonder if you lived and loved
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot
And come to visit you

You are very welcome for the photo. I am happy that I could get it for you. Take care and have a great one.
Funny I did not see this was for you when I claimed it. Hugs, James

I agree that Lillian may be her middle name. It would be interesting to see what her baptismal record says. I know about the German naming practices. I have transcribed many church records with multiple children with same first name listed. But in subsequent records, the second name is used. My own husband goes by his middle name. He has more German heritage than anything else.
This practice confused me for a while until I read an article on the naming practices.
Thanks for transcribing her obit for me. For some reason, it did not appear on the Cincinnati papers on ProQuest when I searched.
Catholic baptismal records in Cincinnati are not easy to come by. Some churches abide by the "ecclesiastical" uses only when deciding whether to give the info out. Or even look. Others are more willing to share the info-sometimes requesting money to do so. The Archives at the Archdiocese are guilty of this. The baptismal indexes done by the Hamilton County Historical & Genealogical Society are mainly protestant due to this. Sad, especially when the Kenton County Diocese is very good about the old records.
There are a lot of Birkle in Campbell County, Ky.

I see that you were able to link Greg and Margaret. I don't know anything about the rest of the family. There were no other Condon's in the St. Francis Cemetery. I see that there is quite a bit of info in her obit which you probably already know about. I have in my library some books that were printed with the headstone listings, that's what I go by.

You are correct. She is linked on his page but not on Jane's for some reason. It should have automatically done the cross link for the two of them. I have no explanation for this.

If you go to 'Edit' on one of their pages you will find a place to add a link.

The photo of this was already on the site of Margaret Macneill which I had previously posted and just added it there now. 8/19/2013 was the date I posted it. there is a place where you can link up the two sites.

|William Hoover||Ada Susan Hubbell (Braithwaite) and Everette John (Braithwaite)|
Dear Jane Marie Morrison, I was able to take photographs of Ada Susan Braithwaite and Everett John Braithwaite grave markers. They are buried at Sunset Cemetery in Galloway Ohio (Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio). You may want to correct or add the cemetery or place of burial to their memorial. Take care, William C Hoover Columbus Ohio.
