RE: Six Mile Cemetery
I didn't mean to imply that James & Sarah Moore lived along Six Mile Creek; only that there were family connections that led to them being buried in the cemetery there. You can't get hung up on lines on a map - these people lived on the prairie and gathered wherever it was convenient for them - regardless of county lines, etc.

RE: Six Mile Cemetery
The Simerwell, Carter, Baxter, Moore families were all inter-related and those families lived near each other in an unofficial community along Six Mile Creek. I have even seen reference to "Six Mile Moore".

You could contact Find A Grave member "Nancy" who took photos there in 2007 - perhaps she has more information.

RE: Six Mile Cemetery

The cemetery in section 16, Williamsport twp is right on Six Mile Creek, in the N 1/2 of the NW 1/4 of the SE 1/4, property owned by John R. Carter. That is Simerwell Cemetery.

There is an obituary for Mrs. John Baxter in the Osage County Chronicle, 10 Oct 1918, which says she was buried at Six Mile cemetery. She and her husband have a grave marker at Simerwell Cemetery.

Hi! Linda,
There is a duplicate memorial on his daughter Mona.
1. #4280283? by Lind
2. #12660654 by Kathy (us)
How can we resolve the duplicate issue?

Please look at mine & see if it meets your approval or not. If your a closer relationship then my husband I'll gladdly delete mine.
Albertson's wife, Edith Adelia Morris is a Great-
Grand Aunt to my husband. I have only proven the existance of 7 children so far for Albert & Edith:
1. Ida, 2. Annie, 3. Edna, 4.Mona, 5. Nora, 6. Leoa, 7. Guy. Thank you for your time & I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Linda,

Linked to parents as requested.

Would you please remove one of the flowers on this memorial. They were posted the same day and say the exact same thing. I think the site "stuttered". :)

Just click on one of the flowers and you have the option of deleting. The other one will stay.

Best wishes,
High Plains.

RE: Albert G. Braman #42803181
Hi! Linda,

Thanks so much for responding. The comment about him not wanting to be near the family makes since to me. From everything we have found so far, and we still don't have the all facts straight, they were a disfunctional family & had their share of problems. If we have any mor questions I'll contact you. Do you know about William & Effa Morris splitting up? If you have access to ancestry go look at our tree, "Chase and Wells" I have found where Effa ended up & where & how she was buried. Her death Cert. is posted on the tree with her name Effa Iwa Ewing. Take care & God bless. Thanks again.

I'm confused. Family members in Spokane have said he & Edith are both buried in the Fairview Cemetery in WA. How do you know he is buried in Canada? His wife, Edith Adelia (Morris) Braman is one of my husband's Great-Aunts. Thank you.
