Bio and Links
Bio Photo The girl in the pic is my daughter. Her stone reads, 'Sometimes things happen that make us ask, "Why, GOD?" And all we can do is to look to HIM in faith, not understanding, just believing. Our Amazing Grace, safe in GOD'S care."
I am a retired Middle School Secretary. I love to walk cemeteries & take photos to enter on this wonderful site. I am researching: my side ~ Roberts, Taylor, Thomas, White, Hall, Gobble/Gabel, Seaman, Butner, Terry, Tripp, Shearer, & Gudgel; my husband's side ~ Wagner, Polansky, Taylor, Harris, Garlett, Miller, Russell, Myers, & Silliman.

We are each of us angels with only one wing; to fly we need only embrace each other.

God Said, "I Know"

I said, "God, I hurt." And God said, "I know."
I said, "God, I cry a lot." And God said, "I know."
I said, "God, I am so depressed." And God said, "That is why I gave you sunshine."
I said, "God, life is so hard." And God said, "That is why I gave you loved ones."
I said, "God, my loved one died." And God said, "So did mine."
I said, "God, it is such a loss." And God said, "I saw mine nailed to a cross."
I said, "God, but your loved one lives." And God said, "So does yours."
I said, "God, where are they now?" And God said, "Mine is on my right and yours is in the light."
I said, "God, it hurts." And God said, "I know!"

Let me come in where you are weeping, friend,
And let me take your hand.
I, who have known a sorrow such as yours,
Can understand.
Let me come in - I would be very still
Beside you in your grief.
I would not bid you cease your weeping, friend,
Tears bring relief.
Let me come in - I would only breathe a prayer,
And hold your hand.
For I have known a sorrow such as yours,
And understand. ~ Grace Noll Crowell

Stone photos don't belong to me, they belong to the person "residing" with don't need my permission to use them...but please be considerate & give me credit for taking the photo. I keep finding my personal family (people) photos being posted to ancestry without my permission....PLEASE ASK MY PERMISSION BEFORE YOU USE THEM!

Thank you for the picture. I saw West Plains was flooded the end of April. My prayers are with your community. I hope you were not affected by this tragedy. Keep up the good work you are doing.

Keeler Hallet in Dry Creek Cemetery
I noticed you have a grave photo downloaded on # 88083347. The memorial is for Mary Elizabeth Keeler Hallet and the photo is for Mary R Hallett Keeler. Mary Elizabeth is the wife of Isaac Hallett and Mary R is Isaac's sister who married Smith Keeler. Can you please remove the photo, thanks. Chris J.

Thanks for your response. I have a long list of distant cousins that I am slowly working my way through. When I get done with that Iíll be adding the Bios, and will eventually send them for you to add to their pages.

I did find it quite amazing that some of my father's mother's family is buried in the same county as some of his father's family--the Gurnseys in Willow Springs who you recently transferred to me--and that you had entered them all on Find A Grave. As the saying goes: "it's a small world."

Simkins/Gurnsey memorials
Thanks so much for those transfers. Bios have been added, and it's been good for me to "get to know" these folks a bit better by taking a closer look at the census printouts I had collected many years ago, as well as checking On-line for a few more details about the cousins-in-law.
