I have been fascinated by cemeteries since I was a kid. I grew up near the Old Baptist Cemetery in Hannibal - the one most people agree that Mark Twain used as a model for Tom Sawyer. That led me to other places. Over the years, I've explored a lot of cemeteries.|
Then, a few years ago, my mother got interested in geneology in a big way. She loved to research, and amassed a database of well-over 100,000 names. I'm now sorting through that database, and I've decided to help others in the same way.
So here I am, splitting my time between my own research, and documenting cemeteries in the area for other peoples' research. Let me know where you're looking, and I'll do my best to help. Feel free to use my images for your own geneology work - that includes using the images for Ancestry or Family Tree Maker. Please remember to give proper credit if you do any publishing. I prefer to be listed as Michael Mann, Quincy, IL

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for preserving the memories of my Grandparents on this site. I was so young when they passed I couldn't remember their birth dates and only vaguely knew the months and years of their deaths. With your postings that have extended to my uncle and great grandparents, i've been able to more completely compile my family tree. Thank you again for what you've done as it means so much to me and my family. Have a blessed day!

I was hoping you might transfer the above memorials for Daniel McLaughlin & Nancy Ann McLaughlin to me as they are my GGGGrandparents. They had a daughter Jane who married Michael McCann(GGGPs), and they in turn had a daughter Emma Frances McCann who married William Asbury Gosney(GGPs)Whose surname I share. Unless you are a closer relative I would appreciate it to be able to add information to honor my GGGGrandparents. Thanks for your consideration.
