Bio and Links
I am a professional genealogist and have been doing genealogy research for over 31 years most of the time obsessively. The family lines I have extensively researched have been Jacob Sink, Jeremiah Sheahan, Jacob Gonder, Seth Martin, Jabez Ham, Johann Jacob Frisch, Christian Klemm, Johan Lorenz Schenk, Richard Wiles, Jefferson Barnett, Chuza Bushnell, James Dempster, Judy Upham, and many others. I have finalized my research by completing books on 10 of the above family members. As you know research is really never finished. I enjoy helping others to trace their past. Instead of just entering names and dates like many do, I try to enter information about that person and link family members together. This helps when someone is trying to locate an ancestor. If I can't locate the family members, then I do enter just the dates. I also believe in keeping family with family so if there is someone that you want transferred who is a family member, just ask and I will be glad to do so.

Feel free to share/copy any of my info or pictures. I believe it belongs to all descendants and I am just fortunate to be the one to locate it for descendants.

RE: Luigi Perardi burial Greenwood vs St Joseph at Canton
Thanks for responding.

I am trying to verify where Louie (Luigi) Perardi is buried.

Currently he is on F/A/G in St Joseph Cemetery, Canton.

Louis (Luigi) was buried in a mausoleum. Does St Joseph Cemetery at Canton, Illinois have a mausoleum?

Thanks so much for any information you can provide.

Luigi Perardi burial Greenwood vs St Joseph at Canton
Greetings! I do appreciate the transfer of this memorial and hope you can help me just a bit more.

As I continue my research of my Canavese cousins, including related families who immigrated to Fulton Co. from the Italian Piedmont, I wonder if Luigi Perardi's remains are interred in the Mausoleum at Greenwood Cemetery at Canton, vice burial at St Joseph Cemetery. Luigi does have other relatives, including Perardi, interred at Greenwood.

Does St Joseph have a mausoleum?

Luigi's death recorded on the Illinois Deaths and Stillbirths Index indicates his death at St. David but does not indicate a burial location other than "mausoleum".

Do you know who (church, funeral home, etc) controls the burials at the Greenwood mausoleum? Perhaps if I call that person or organization at Greenwood maybe they can confirm Luigi's interment location.

I live in Arizona so any suggestions or leads you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

P.S. if I can help you with information on the early Italian families from the Piedmont, please don't hesitate to contact me. I have conducted extensive research on many of these families and have built a significant database of info.

Sincerely, Carol

RE: Transfer of Perardi memorials, etc
That is so nice to hear; it makes them more than just two names on a family tree.

About Luigi Perardi...does St Joseph's have a mausoleum? Do you know if there is a cemetery at St David that has a mausoleum? It would be interesting to find out whose remains are entombed next or near to him.

I have been working (cleaning up my records) on my Perardi and associated families (my maternal grandfather was from the Giovanni Pietro Perardi and Anna Doglio clan at Busano). I get swimmy-headed following the many cousins named John Perardi, Peter Perardi, Louis Perardi, etc.!

RE: Transfer of Perardi memorials, etc
Thank you for the offer of transfer. Yes, I would like to maintain these memorials so that I can add genealogical information to them. The memorials are:

Dominic Perardi 121889260
Louie Perardi 142126188

Also, I tried to add a photograph to Jennie Viettone Perardi DeBernardi's memorial 134820147, but the photo allotment has been filled to capacity. You have added one of your photo document twice. Could you please delete one of your duplicate documents? That will make it possible for me to add Jennie's photo to her memorial.

Kind regards, Carol

Andrew Liepnick # 83861003
I have seen a few variations of this last name in regards to him. I know IL death index has a lot of misspelled names on it. His wife has Liepnick on her headstone. The death index at the library has the name Lipnick for him and has Lipnik for his wife. I believe his daughter has her maiden name as listed as Leipnick. For now I plan on leaving it as it is since that is what is on the headstone.
