|I have been doing my genealogy since Summer 2012 and have already amassed a large collection of information, thanks to the internet, particularly FindAGrave and Ancestry.|
My particular interest here at FindAGrave is fulfilling photo requests for Loudon Park Cemetery, especially the hard ones without plot information. I am also working on uploading photos for all "famous" memorials at Loudon Park that need them. My website (link below) is a site I created to consolidate various sources of information on Loudon Park.
I am starting to upload large numbers of memorials to FindAGrave from the Loudon Park Cemetery caretaker records, so if you have any corrections to these new memorials or would like them transferred please do not hesitate to contact me.
Please note my new e-mail address (which I am not publishing on my contributor page in order to avoid spam for a while): joecandeux at that behemoth e-mail provider owned by Google.

Thank you for taking the picture for me.

Thank you so much for taking the time to photograph the Mary A Breeden, Frank A Breeden, and William Breeden graves. Frank and MaryAnne were my grandparents, but died before I was born. Sincerely, Linda Fox

Thank you so much for trying to get a photo of Catherine's marker, Memorial # 180610177. It's nice to at least see the family name marker is in place. Too many times I have come across family with no markers what-so-ever, you just have to assume they are buried where you think they are.
As for the Sorensen's. Ada was Catherine's daughter, James was Ada's 2nd husband, and Sarah (name should be Green, not Sorensen) was the daughter of Ada and her 1st husband (Unknown) Green. They do have memorials already on Find A Grave.
Thank you again!

Joe, Thanks for your lightening fast response to my photo requests for the Peacock family in Loudon Park. And, because of your awesome photos I was able to see that three additional family members are buried in that plot so I have added memorials for Carrie (180697467), George (180697423) and John Jr (180697235). Would you please attach photos to these memorials as well?
Also, I see another smaller, white monument in that plot but I can't see what the names were. Did you get a closeup photo of that?

|SusanVHF||Jacob Streib in Loudon Park|
A few months ago you posted a note on the photo request I had for Jacob Streib (#178345257) in Loudon Park that you could not find a record for a Jacob with those birth and death dates. I finally had a chance to get to the Maryland Archives this week and I found my Jacob's death certificate. It confirms that his birth date was 17 Sept 1832 and his death date was 2 Oct 1906. And it confirms that his burial was at Loudon Park. I'm not sure who the other Jacob Streib you found was and mine didn't have sons.
Did you find Dora (aka Dorothy, aka Dorothea) Streib (178345085) in Loudon Park? I had also requested a photo for her grave. Dora was Jacob's wife so I figured that they would be buried together.
Their only child, Katherine Streib Wassaman (memorial 178347064), is buried in Section S according to the person who created the memorial for her. Maybe Jacob and Dora are buried with her?
Any info you have would be very appreciated.

Thank you greatly for the outstanding picture of August Fredrick Becker's grave marker. This makes the family link so much easier and the location data provided is excellent...Bess Jr.

|Michele Watson||RE: photos of relatives stones|
My grandparents names are Lillian M Davis and Daniel M Davis. They are in Poplar Lot 128 . Daniel is in grave #1 and Lillian in #2. I believe they have foot markers with dates. Daniel Date of death is Nov 4, 1950 and Lillian date of death is Feb 24, 1973. They have two extra lots there. I am also looking for an infant daughter of theirs that died after birth around 1920. I think her name was Virginia Davis although they may never have legally name her I was never told she was buried there. I know she wasn't buried near my grandparents because they didn't purchase the plots until around 1945 in Loudon Park.
If possible, I also have a great uncle and aunt buried there in a different section.. Walter Moncure Davis and Alice R Davis buried in Magnolia 157, Midpart #1 and #2. They also had a son that died in WWII named Walter Compton Davis who died in Dec 2. 1942. I was told his body was never recovered but that he had a memorial stone at Loudon Park. The cemetery was unable to locate it...not sure if they tried. Walter and Alice also have a baby that died in 1919..not sure of the name or burial location...Any help or pictures would be appreciated...Thank you, Michele
Thanks as always for your help!! Don't worry about it there's probably no marker for Minnie or Sol!! Stephen
