Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello, We have been active in our ancestral research for about fifteen years now. We got started just about a year before my father died. He was doing some research himself and had documented a makeshift tree. Even though his work was incomplete it gave us the initiative to take it and run with it. Several years later we have over 30,000 people in our tree and have visited several cemeteries in the area where we live. After a few thousand headstones photos taken we are now in the process of uploading them to Find A Grave as well as Ancestry. It has been arduous work but very rewarding to us. Unfortunately, the reason we are adding a bio now is because the efforts we have taken to make sure our relatives are remembered by information here and on Ancestry, is, our photos are being taken without our permission and then claimed by others as their own. We started noticing this about a year ago and started putting a small watermark on the photos. This has not stopped people from stealing our work. We would rather not put anything on the photos themselves because we believe it takes away form the aesthetics of the photo, however, it has become necessary. Now it seems as though even having the small watermark is not enough to deter those who would take what does not belong to them without asking or giving credit. So much for the small watermark. Now you will be finding photos we upload will have GLARING marks on them. Sorry about that.

We are not averse to letting people copy these photos, we just ask that credit be given where credit is due. Just ASK. You might be surprised how willing we are to share. With the proper credit given. Unfortunately, the watermarks will remain.

Because we are not able to travel long distances, we ourselves have taken photos from others on this site "WITH PRIOR PERMISSION" and with due credit given. So, we understand the desire to have a copy of your own.

Thank you for all the edits you submitted to me about the Darnell family. I believe I have corrected most of them. I appreciate your work.
Are you related to the Darnell's you have submitted?
My great great grandparents are Priscilla Thurman Darnell and William Darnell through daughter Mary.

Why don't you delete the edit and just put up her date of death and I will accept it.

This is not my family but when I receive edits I always check for proof because I want my memorials to be correct. I never go by someone else's research because I've found there are too many mistakes. I can believe they brought her remains back to King City because they were living there in 1935 so hadn't lived in CO for many years. I can't even find an obit for her on No, I don't have a CO death certificate for her.

Esther Davis Memorial # 135492878
You sent an edit that she passed away in King City, Gentry County, MO, but I can't find a MO death certificate for her. They were living in CO in the 1940 census so unless you have proof of her death I will have to decline the edit. Ancestry trees & personal family histories don't count as proof. thanks!!! ~Peggy

RE: Josephus or Jordan?

Jordan is buried in Iowa # 48305528. He has a stone with the dates you mentioned. Actually, 2 stones, one original stone that only has his death date and a newer stone that has both birth and death. So, sorry, I will decline the edits.

However, if you related to Jordan ... we are cousins! Jordan is my 1st cousin, 5X removed. I am descended from Abraham Woodhull Haptonstall (1761-1847) and Rachel Margaret Price (c1765-1834) through their daughter, Charity, and Reuben Rambo.

RE: Ida Belle Fleisher Seaman
What a small world, isn't it? I remember reading her name on his memorial page. Thanks for sharing.

RE: Ida Belle Fleisher Seaman
Thanks a bunch! I have transcribed her obit and referenced you as the source. Was able to link to her parents and sent edits to link brother Ramon also in Maquon Cem, brother Dale, and son Larry.
While I was searching went ahead and sent edits for Edward's wife Irene for parents and couple siblings.

I'm guessing she had the kids out of wedlock or maybe even chance were one of her nephews that she ended up raising. 1940 census had Larry as grandson.
