Bio Photo I've been a member for years. I try to do as many volunteer photos as I can get to. I am a Chicago native who is living my dream in sunny Arizona. Since I am new to the area, I can't wait to get out there and explore the cemeteries as I learn the lay of the land.

I photograph & post gravesites as a hobby. I don't know or have info on most of my posts. Sorry!

If you have me add info to a post, I will put a note including your find a grave ID. This allows people to go to the proper source if they have a question about the information you provide. If you are not willing to stand behind your provided information, don't ask me to post it.

***I'd like to say a public THANK YOU to Keri #48150755 & Lorraine Anderson #46820770 for sending me numerous corrections so that I was able to relocate the burials at the now defunct Saint Johannes Cemetery, to their new resting places. Without their assistance, the new resting places would not be listed.

Robert Edgar Cook, Memorial #53881391

Robert Edgar Cook, Atkins Cemetery, Madison County, Arkansas.

I sent a request for change of the death date for Robert Edgar Cook, which you declined. I am curious where you got the information that shows that Robert Edgar Cook died on August 14, 1895? Robert Cook, age 30, is listed on the 1900 Madison County, Arkansas, census living with his mother, Margaret Cook, a widow.

If he died in August 1895 I don't understand why he is listed on the 1900 census???

I would like to hear from you regarding this.

Nolon Johnson #42212598
You declined my suggestion that you remove Margaret RAYMOND Johnson as the mother of Nolon Johnson, born 1927 died 25 September 1930, age 3 years 8 days. Nolan is buried in the Atkins Cemetery in Madison County, Arkansas. (Nolan's Memorial #42212598)

I believe that Nolon Johnson was a grandson of Margaret RAYMOND Johnson. If she was his mother she would have been 56 years old when he was born (the 1900 census shows her born December 1861).

William N. Johnson, Margaret's husband, died in May 1920. So if Margaret was Nolon's mother, then she gave birth to him at 56 years of age and at a time that she was a widow.

I've seen information that shows that Nolon Johnson was the son of William N. Johnson, Jr. (1894-1975) & Nora Jane BRYANT Johnson.

If you have other information that proves that Margaret was Nolan's mother, I'd appreciate it if you'd share that with me.

RE: Eden Cemetery
Hi. I literally photographed the entire section 10 in Eden and there is an area for people previously buried in St. Johanne's Cemetery. Any pictures that I took which were the same as your pictures I only corrected the plot location, or added a closer picture. I have the pictures I took and if it is alright I will send you another batch that are in Section 10 in Eden Cemetery.
Do you have a list of names moved from St. Johanne's Cemetery? If you do have a list could you check Eden for others that were moved to Eden Cemetery as well? In the cooler weather I want to go and revisit Section 7 (in Eden Cemetery) which I think also has some others from St. Johanne's Cemetery. I photographed that section as well.

RE: Dierking
I am adding memorials to pictures I have taken in Section 10 in Eden Cemetery. I am at the area in section 10 where all the people from Saint Johannes were buried. I will keep you informed if I find memorials for another cemetery which are actually in Section 10 in Eden Cemetery. I am doing that tomorrow morning. I will let you know about other memorials as I come across them. Thank you.

Who took these pictures of Walter, Amanda and Laura Dierking/ I took these same pictures in section 10 of Eden Cemetery in Schiller Park. Could someone have mistakenly selected an inaccurate cemetery? I do not want to create duplicate memorials. Could you help?

Charles M.Puffer - Downers Grove IL
The death info for Charles M.PUFFER (1847-1878), who is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Downers Grove IL, indicates that he died in the one-time "Burlington Heights." Would you happen to still have a record of who or what provided the mention of Burlington Heights? Thanks.

RE: Malissa I Canode Brown
OK, I can understand that, but please add to the note that my source is an obituary sent to me by the folks at the Iroquois County Genealogy Society. They didn't identify the newspaper itself but sent a scan. I will transcribe it if you will be kind enough to include it. They also sent information from the cemetery itself that does not support the date on the stone - it indicates a death date of September 6 and burial date of Sept. 7 1939. Elijah's is also wrong, though I am still looking at him. I have a brief article from the Mattoon (IL) Journal-Gazette indicating his eldest son was called away to his funeral in Portland, IN, in 1930. He is also present in the 1930 census, so he did not die before then. I am still trying to get an obituary for him from that area. The only oddity that might explain the wrong dates on the stone is that Elijah was apparently reinterred from a cemetery in Portland in 1942, so the stone is likely not the original one. I also decided last night to create a page for Malissa's mother - I don't know where her remains are but Malissa has two siblings on Find A Grave and I want to tie them together and to the Pifers.
