Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started working on my family's genealogy
several years ago. I currently live in New Hampshire and my roots are primarily in New England and New Brunswick, Canada. Among the family surnames I am researching are Dunton, Borey, Finch, Whittemore, Derby and LaFountain.

For as long as I can remember, I have always enjoyed visiting cemeteries. I find them very peaceful and a wonderful break from life's daily stresses.

Transfer requests outside of the guidelines will be decided on a case by case basis. When requesting a transfer please state what the relationship is to you. Just saying they are family is not sufficient. I will check your profile prior to transfer to make sure you aren't just a collector, but are a contributing member. If you want to collect family, you can use a virtual cemetery for that purpose. I would also like to add that asking nicely will go much farther than rude demands.

Please send all requests for corrections, links, bios and transfers using the edit tab on the memorial. Please do not leave them on my messages as they will be ignored. The edit tab makes it much easier and there is less chance of mistakes.

If I have a question regarding a correction you send and you have your messages and email turned off, I will not make the correction. It is very hard to have a one way conversation.

I will not make any links to a burial unknown. This site is named Find A Grave for a reason. If you do not know the final disposition, you should not be creating a memorial just to link family members. There are other sites available for building your family tree.

I spend a lot of time traveling, photographing, editing and posting my photos because I love doing it. It also gives me a lot of satisfaction if I can help others find their family. I do not mind if you use the photos for personal use, but please give credit.

RE: James Sanders #99093752
I spent yesterday sorting out James "Jimmy" Sanders parents. As it turns out Maynard Robert "Sandy" Sanders 1897-1975 (Find A Grave# 99093217) was in fact his father. He and Ida Barron Dozier (Find A Grave# 173395674) divorced in 1946 in Florida. He remarried Helen "Sueky" Williston in 1947ish. She passed on 29 Jan 2016 in Charlotte, NC. There is no record of her burial that I can find, however, it was probably in NH. This summer I will be in NH for a memorial service for her cousin, my mother-in-law. We will see what we can find if her place of rest doesn't show up before then.

RE: James Sanders #99093752
You are correct about his parents, however, the Find A Grave site shows him as the son of his grandfather Maynard Robert Sanders born in 1897 (Find A Grave# 99093217) who was married to Ida Barron Dozier b. 1899 (Find A Grave# 99093217), his grandmother. James' father also named Maynard was born about 1921 and Helen Williston born about 1921 as well. I am still trying to locate where they are buried.

Thank you for the photos of my Grandfathers Grave, My mom would have loved it if she had not passed away due to cancer.

Jesse Beardsley
I saw your recent message to me about a duplicate memorial. I always check prior to submitting memorials to see if they exist. I did not see any with the last name of Beardsley. I see that the memorial #11907391 does have a Whitney Beardsley and that is why it did not show. I am not related to this person, just wanted to help people out by photographing the memorials at this cemetery. I see that someone (probably a family member) has connected my memorial with their family line whereas the other memorial (from 2005) has no connections. I feel it would do more harm to remove my memorial than to remove the old one.

Thanks,

Roy Woodruff

Hello!
I think cenotaph is the way to go. It might take a few weeks, but would solve any question. Thanks for your reply. Happy holidays!

HI...when there's a full DOD and a full DOB in yr, mo, and days you certainly can use the calculation method and get the correct DOB. It sure makes it easier to find individuals if both are listed...thanks

RE: Dunhams
Hi...the information is on each stone as to how old they were when they died...I calculated it from that...ie...if they died in 1854 and they were 50 when they died...then chances are they were born in 1803 or 1804.

Here's a link that will help you calculate dates of birth

http://www.ovs-genealogy.com/tools/free_birthdate_calculator_calculates_birth_day.shtml

Let me know if I can help ok
