Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started working on my family's genealogy
several years ago. I currently live in New Hampshire and my roots are primarily in New England and New Brunswick, Canada. Among the family surnames I am researching are Dunton, Borey, Finch, Whittemore, Derby and LaFountain.

For as long as I can remember, I have always enjoyed visiting cemeteries. I find them very peaceful and a wonderful break from life's daily stresses.

Transfer requests outside of the guidelines will be decided on a case by case basis. When requesting a transfer please state what the relationship is to you. Just saying they are family is not sufficient. I will check your profile prior to transfer to make sure you aren't just a collector, but are a contributing member. If you want to collect family, you can use a virtual cemetery for that purpose. I would also like to add that asking nicely will go much farther than rude demands.

Please send all requests for corrections, links, bios and transfers using the edit tab on the memorial. Please do not leave them on my messages as they will be ignored. The edit tab makes it much easier and there is less chance of mistakes.

If I have a question regarding a correction you send and you have your messages and email turned off, I will not make the correction. It is very hard to have a one way conversation.

I will not make any links to a burial unknown. This site is named Find A Grave for a reason. If you do not know the final disposition, you should not be creating a memorial just to link family members. There are other sites available for building your family tree.

I spend a lot of time traveling, photographing, editing and posting my photos because I love doing it. It also gives me a lot of satisfaction if I can help others find their family. I do not mind if you use the photos for personal use, but please give credit.

RE: Photo request fulfillment
Let me know if there are any photos you need from the Houston area. Perhaps I can help you.
I live in the north of Houston by about 37 miles.

Thank you again,

Photo request fulfillment
Dear R Moore,

Just a note to say "thank you" for responding so quickly to my request for a photo of the Robert L. Mattson grave marker.

It resulted in giving me a good amount of information for his family.

Thanks again,

RE: Lucille Chute
My point is, there are thousands of people buried somwhere we will never find them. I personally had 28 family members die during a colora epidemic and buried in a common grave. Only a handfull were given a headstone later. You have to give a little room for this kind of thing as we all went from coast to coast in one way or another and I would not be happy to just not record them.

RE: Alice Leland
I also see duplicates with Alice's parents, The McCrackens, in both cemeteries. I don't know how many more this might affect.

RE: Alice Leland
I noticed that she was entered as being in both Moores Mills and Moores Mills Annex, as well as her husband, Thomas. You entered them into Moores Mills and Karen Lovy in Moores Mills Annex. I requested pictures for both to see which site was correct. Karen has entered many, many memorials in New Brunswick. From what I gather, she lives in Texas. I don't know if she has NB roots or not. My people live in Caithness-Mascarene-Letete area. Right now I have photographed 100% of Mascarene Baptist, and almost 90% of Letete. I was just up for a wedding and satisfied some photo requests for St George Rural.
I feel Karen has entered names from lists off the internet. There are a lot of discrepancies with what she entered. I have been sending a lot of edits; some corrected, others not.
I will be coming back up in Oct. and hope to keep taking pictures

RE: George Andrew Borey
I thought the new cemetery started burials in 1924 and the old one stopped then so I figured that he had to be buried there (though I now see other post-1924 burials indicated at the old one). Technically one is an extension of the other; they're managed by the same people. If I'm up in Nashua again I can check it out. If the grave is found in the older site then I'll change the burial location here. George is my second great grandfather.

RE: Nancy Howard #112581792
I had found it on FamilySearch with her marriage to Elijah Howard - but haven't been able to successfully open any vital records on their site for the last two day....until a few minutes ago, and now I see her birthplace may have been listed as Winchester, but the actual document says both bride and groom were "from Winchester"
I was happy to find Horace and Nancy so I could link to the children they left behind in Calais.
