RE: John Laurence Beckard
Barbara,

John Laurence Beckard is not my grandfather. Apparently I was not clear. He did however serve with my grandfather, Gunder Anderson, in the same unit in WWI: Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division.

I already have the photograph. The book you reference is online, but thank you for offering!

Thank you for the use of the photo. I've found over 200 of the 400 who served in the unit.

Sincerely,

Bryan Anderson

John Laurence Beckard
Dear Barbara,

I am researching my paternal grandfather's WWI army unit, Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. According to the History and Roster of the 355th Infantry, John Laurence Beckard was a member of this unit. This is confirmed by his gravestone.

I'm not exactly sure where I'm going with my project, but I want to eventually publish something. So, with your permission, I would like to use your photograph of the grave of John L. Beckard (Find A Grave Memorial# 53272093). Please let me know if this would be acceptable.

Thank you, I appreciate your time.

With warm regards,

Bryan Anderson

RE: John Degette
Yes, If you would transfer the other 4 memorials then I can work with those. It really is difficult when people spell their birth surname to some other spelling. Which spelling should I use the one they were born with or the wrong spelling? I appreciate your offer very much. Thank you for being cooperative. I appreciate it more then you know. William Fox

RE: Catherine C. Tynan Nutter
Thank you for the correction, just getting information from the stones is not always what it seems. Love to have all we can for their memorials.

John DeGette Memorial Transfer
I was surprised that you had completed the transfer that I requested so fast. I was in a quandary as to how to add the correct family surname yet keep the family all on the same page but now I see they have been separated because of the surname correction. Do you have any suggestions? I would appreciate your input on this matter. Thanks so much for your cooperation as I don't get this very often.

John Degette Memorial Transfer request
Would you please transfer John Degette memorial # 110853318 to me, William L. Fox Find-A-Grave member # 47810594? I have finished my research on his life and I would like to up-grade his memorial with the new facts. Thank You for your help in this matter. Also Thank You for transferring his father, La Fayette Degette's memorial to me back in June 2016. I am sorry for not catching the transfer before now but I can't remember things as I used to.

W I Davis Family Portrait
Barbara,

I love the family picture of the Davis Family. Did you find the picture or did one of the relatives send it to you?

Milly Schulze was my grandmother.

I have also looked at the book you have in the Nebraska Historical Society for Unadilla. All the work you do is wonderful and greatly appreciated!
