Bio and Links
Bio Photo When I discovered this website, I was determined to try to be a part in bringing faces, stories and history to the people who have passed before us. My father and grandfather both kept diary books and left me with the sense that their ancesters needed to be remembered. I have done Genealogy research for many years on several names within my family. I have been entering cemetery information about others outside my family also. I find that this website is a valuable source when tracing ancestry so memorials of loved ones long past is important to me. I have found contributors to be very helpful and cooperative as I will try to be to others asking for information, transfers or even photographs if possible. Please use the edit tab to notify me of any changes or additions to a specific memorial. By the way, the picture to the left is of me (taken a while back.)

RE: Rachel Cooper Morrison
Thank you for the transfer I just meant the obit for you so that you could verify Rachel Cooper Morrison's age and marriage. Not to place the obit on her memorial. I could look for an obituary for Frederick Morrison. I did not find an obit for Major Samuel Morrison, which surprised me as he was a war hero in the area.

Thank you

Rachel Cooper Morrison
Hi, I found an obituary for Rachel Morrison and would like to send it to you. Could I have your email address or let me know where to send it.

Rachel's memorial has been update so I will send another edit for mother for Frederick.

The Clark girls are my 2g-grand aunts. Their brother, Robert, is my 2g-grandfather.

Are we related or are you just volunteering on Find A Grave?

RE: Frederick Morrison
Hi, Lloyd, thank you for catching that date snafu. I edited Rachel's birth date on her memorial. It is actually 8 Nov 1796 in Washington County, Pennsylvania. I also found her parents while I was at it looking for an 1800 census for her dad. It isn't my memorial for we wait for the creator to update it. They must have looked at two other things while creating her memorial.

Two of her boys marry Clark sisters and a third son marries the daughter of the oldest Clark girl that married John Preston. Plus another sister marries a so far unidentified Samuel Morrison that doesn't seem to be in this Morrison line. These are old families in eastern Washington County.

Milton J. Frew
Dear Lloyd,

My apologies for bothering you again.

Just a reminder that I am researching my paternal grandfather's WWI army unit, Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. According to the website:

Milton J. Frew was also a member of this unit, despite the fact his gravestone says he served with the CAS Depot 1027th. Transfers happen, so I suppose he could have been in both. When I see this, I include the soldier.

Again, I hope to publish something in the future. Is it permissible to use your photograph of the grave of Milton J. Frew (Find A Grave Memorial# 55309294)? Please let me know.

Thank you, I appreciate it.

I was wondering where you might have gotten the information for Mary Christian's maiden name of Maupin. I am researching my great grandfathers parents and she might be his mother. Any information you can share with me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Karem

Need correction, please.

This Mary Konvalin is not Mary Dober Konvalin. Mary Dober Konvalin was born in 1885, had 3 children by James J., and died in 1914. She is also buried in Bohemian Cemetery. Her memorial is Find A Grave Memorial# 157398629 (titled as Marie Konvalin).

This Mary had a maiden name of Hardesty, and was a widow with a son (b ca 1918) by the surname of Hamblin when she married James J. Konvalin (bef 1920 census).

Frank Osovski
Would you please transfer Frank's Memorial to me; he is my grandfather. The number is 51861753. Thank you so much for creating this for Frank and our family. Now we know where his grave is located and we can honor his too short life.

Forever grateful,
