I moved to North-Central Kansas in late 2008, which gave me a whole new starting place for family history research! My grandmother Elsa Opal Long Vandecar (1896-1996) was the family historian, and for the last 20 years or so I've been trying to continue her legacy.|
You are welcome to copy any of my gravestone photos onto other genealogy or family history websites; no need to credit me. Helping other family historians by gathering those photos is my way of paying forward all the help I've received!

Not a problem, but what is the correct spelling of your first name? :)

Thanks again for fulfilling another one of my photo requests and also for putting it on her first husband's memorial. Great picture!!!
|Susan Miller||Alice Sams|
Sarah, thank you for your kind & generous offer of transferring Alice's memorial to me. Since I am a very distant relative & since she has 2 grown children who may someday take an interest in their ancestry, I will decline. Also, thank you for making the links & for adding her maiden name.
Most gratefully yours, :) Susan

I just declined your edit to remove Bill White's first wife, Clara, from his links. He married her Dec. 6, 1945, and divorced her June 20, 1957. He then married his second wife, Dolores Trowbridge,June 25, 1959. He had children from both marriages.
He was my husband's first cousin, once removed.

...and thank YOU for acting so quickly and in such a positive manner.

Thanks for posting the Belleville Telescope obituary for Anna Shara Moravek. I believe, though, that the date of that obit is Jan 3, 1946, not 1945. She died in December of 1945, as indicated in the correct death date that you have listed. Thanks again for sharing the information.

Nice photo for Doris's headstone, it is in remarkably good condition.

Again, thank you!
I greatly appreciate your time.

Dear SJ Oregon,
I am researching my paternal grandfather's WWI army unit, Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. According to the History of the 89th Division, Martin Larson was awarded the a Citation and Commendation from the general of the Division for actions performed on 10/20-10/21/1918.
I'm not exactly sure where I'm going with my project, but want to eventually publish something. Would it be permissible to use your photograph of the grave of Martin Ludvig Larson (Find A Grave Memorial# 41536917) should I eventually publish something?
With warm regards,
|Bryan Anderson||RE: Charles G. Fulton|
Again, thank you very much. I greatly appreciate your efforts.
