RE: John Barr mix up
I was just pointing out that there are two memorials for the same person. Obviously he can only be buried in one place.

I suggest, after first resolving the above problem, asking the find-a-grave administrators to add a more concise description to each cemetery. Email them at cemetery@findagrave.com

Thank you so much! I believe this is my maternal grandfather's father. His spouse was Matie L. Goodell, born in 1873; their son, Heber Goodell Lyons, was born in 1895. Do you know if she is buried there (Masonic Lawn Cemetery), as well? Thank you, again! Best, Debbie

RE: Shepler plot - Sacramento City Cem.
Thanks Margaret!

You are really going above and beyond, in an effort to work this and I thank you. This person isn't a direct relative but is a distant one of mine.

Thanks again!

RE: Capt John Thomas Washington Medearis
He was the third cousin of George Washington and Donna's 4th Great Grandfather. He did not refuse a land grant. He received 3840 acres in then Davidson County, North Carolina, now Marshall County, Tennessee. He didn't require repayment of a loan of he made to the young country of $75,000 (over $1,700,000 in today's dollars) for the reason stated.

It appears that the owner saw fit to rearrange the photos. I have no problem with the additional information you provided as long as it is correct, but it belongs in the bio as suggested by Find A Grave to leave room for grave or personal photos.

BTW, the area is still known as Liberty Valley and there is a fairly detailed bio already on the memorial which is pretty close to correct.
