My added vs. managed memorials difference is quite large because I manage many memorials transferred to me from an inactive member. I work daily on those to add and correct information but there are many yet to do.|
I do not link to "unknown" burial memorials as disposition should be known before adding a memorial and Find A Grave states the burial location should be added within 30 days.

I looked in another family member and found her. I also deleted mine. Thank you for your kindness and patience
|Shirley DeLuca||Bessie marsh|
You sent me an email showing me her other memorial but I accidentally deleted it and am unable to find it. Can you help me find it so I can then delete mine? Please and thank you
|Richard Rieck||Moore grave|
I checked with Oak Ridge Cemetery and they sent me a scan of the plot card which indicates there are remains associated with the marker. So Moore was one of the lucky few who "made it home" after dying on the trail. Thanks for your help.

Thank you for the extremely fast and thorough response. I have a database with 6500 trail deaths and only about 1% were ever shipped east to their homes. Finding trail graves was nearly impossible after a year or two thus precluding recovery after that short period. So memorials/cenotaphs are quite common in hometowns even though the deceased are buried beside the trail. We both know that old cemetery records often leave a little to be desired and may be unclear if there are actual remains beneath a marker or not. Two pieces of evidence supporting his actual burial in Springfield are that he was 1) a freighter (perhaps colleagues could get his remains on a returning wagon) and 2) he died in 1864 when long-distance removals to the east were a little more common. In short– who knows where he is? As per your suggestion I will try contacting Oak Ridge. I leave it to your good judgment about whether to add a comment that he might still be buried about 20 miles east of Julesburg. Again, thanks for your positive response, I appreciate it.

There is a good-to-very-good chance that John B. Moore is still buried in an anonymous trail grave in Nebraska near the Colorado border and that the marker in Illinois is simply a memorial/cenotaph. I realize you are not the original poster but do you have any information on whether only a *marker* was moved from Henderson to Oak Ridge or whether remains were also associated with it and were transported too? Thank you. Richard

Do you know if Thomas Keepers was actually named Alexander Thomas Keepers? Was he the son of John and Elizabeth Geyer Keepers?

I received from the office at Calvary Cemetery a record of all those buried in Block F, Lot 9. Beside Grandmother - 1904 - East 2 was the Margaret Kinsella. Check to see what info you can find.
P.S. If I had your e-mail, I could send it on to you.

Thank you for your dedication to Find A Grave.
My stepfather, Ralph Crane Hahn, died July 26, 2016. Ralph Hahn wrote a biography for his great grandfather, Adam Hahn, biography for his mother, Amanda Louisa Crane Hahn, and an autobiography.
Over the 4th of July holiday, I washed & cleaned twelve Hahn tombstones, and the family marker, at Oak Ridge Cemetery Block 18 Lot 89. Subsequently, I set up floral displays and took pictures with my GPS enabled camera. I even saw the B-17 "Sentimental Journey" fly by while I was working.
I created a Find A Grave memorial for Lindsay Ralph Hahn, Ralph Crane Hahn's father. I also added a portrait and tombstone picture to Jennie J. Hahn's memorial. And linked Lindsay Hahn to his mother Jennie Hahn. We believe Lindsay Hahn's father was illegitimate.
Would you be so kind to transfer Jennie J. Hahn's memorial #57727259 to my account? I would like to add her birth date and location, death location, obituary, GPS coordinates, and link her parents, etc. Charles Brown originally created this memorial in 2010.

Why do you believe the above lady's name is Murphy? Linda
|Shirley DeLuca||RE: James Wright|
Thank you. When I went back and read it while I was actually awake I see you have the same info as me. If I find anymore I will let you know.
