|I have been doing family history for over 45 years and I do understand that elation when one finds information about their family. For over 8 years now I have tried to do my share in documenting grave sites in any cemetery that I am near. I hope that my efforts have helped some to actually see the grave site of a family member that they never knew the location of or could never hope to visit. I spend many hours doing the photography and even cleaning up the weed choked sites. Also I go the extra mile and try to find more documentation and information about the person.|
It is not my intent to construct an instant family tree for anyone to claim; but, please, do not minimize or negate the time and efforts I put forth. I am always cooperative in making corrections or adding information to a site but prefer not to make transfers except under certain circumstances as it is my experience the requester does nothing to enhance the site but merely wants to collect.
Please be patient if I do not make an edit immediately. It will happen but I am not at the computer 24-7.

First of all, thank you for all the hours of service you provide. I know it is a labor of love.
I am not sure if this person belongs with the family of Dooleys I am researching, the name & dates of birth and death are a dead on match, but "my" Jesse Dooley was b. in IL and lived in IN much of his life. Do you have any further information on this man?

|Dan Phelan||Cecil Fleming, North Africa|
I saw your last name and your flowers on the page of Cecil V. Fleming, Memorial# 56246979, at North Africa American Cemetery and Memorial. You may want to know that photos were just uploaded of his name on the memorial.
|J. Rubio||Cornelius B. Riddick|
I am wondering if I could have permission to publish the photo of Riddick's grave? I wish to use it in my 2nd book about the history of the Preston School of Industry. He was one of the earlier Superintendents at the school, and one of the few who did his job well and treated the wards there with kindness. This was a big thing, given the Superintendents who came before and after him who chose brutality over love. Both he and his wife loved the kids and appreciated all the staff there. I really want to give him the respect he deserves and honor his memory in my book. I have no photo of him personally and his grave is all I could find. Please message me on my website www.jaimerubiowriter.com

Would it be possible to have the memorial for Dora B. Hoppe (# 141975733) transferred to me? This is my paternal grandmother. If this is possible, I would be very grateful. Thank you.

You got it right about this other Mabel.
I checked the family information so it is not her but a Mabel Patrick with different dates.
