|WNY Chappy||RE: Until the Day Dawn Cemetery|
Wish I could take the photos, but unfortunately I moved out of state a few weeks ago. :(

I am interesting in reproducing your photo of the grave of John Sands II, in a family history of the Sands and Van Volkenburgh families, to be published later this year. Please let me know what additional information you may need. Thank you!
|Nancy Fennell||Photo Request - VanTassell|
On 11/8/2016 I was looking for the graves of Ida, Emery and Charles VanTassell in section 711 at Riverside Cemetery in Baldwinsville, NY.
I believe that there are no tombstones for them in this section.
I found one tombstone in this section for a Roland R VanTassell who was in the US Navy born 1898 and died 1929. I believe that he is in section 711 but I will have to go back to the cemetery office to confirm.
Roland is not listed at this cemetery on Find a Grave.
I took two pictures, one of the section which shows empty section, and one of Roland's tombstone.
Please contact me if you wish me to proceed with investigating Roland.
|PenStratton||permission to use photo?|
May I use your photo of the grave of John Sands at the Sands Burying Ground in a family history of a descendant of John Sands? It will be published by New England Historic Genealogical Society/Newbury Street Press in 2017. Thank you!
Thank you so much Susan. The granddaughter of Frederick asked to see the picture so I made the request for them. Many thanks, Cara

|Janette||RE: location of Clough Cemetery|
I just googled the Spoor Homestead and apparently it is within 2 miles south of Coxsackie, NY. I have never been there or know where it is. I'm in that area once a year, I will defiantly have to check it out.

Thank you so much for finding Hannah's gravestone and taking the photograph! I truly appreciate it.
|Becky Godwin||Stephen Knowlton|
I have picked up your request for Stephen Knowlton and wanted to keep you updated to were I am at....
I have that he was born on Aug. 26, 1730 and his death is Jan. 29, 1814....
I walked through the cemetery twice and haven't found anything yet.... The stones are very hard to read and some are blank...
I did go to the town hall looking for a map of the cemetery but no luck....
I also checked the burial log and the town of East Hampton doesn't have a record of his death or his burial in the Tartia Cemetery....
I do have a call into the sexton of the cemetery to see if he may have some records to prove he is there and maybe we're his final resting spot is....
If you have any other clues, let me know....

Thank you so much for the photo!
