Bio Photo A member of the Permian Basin Vietnam Veteran's Memorial in Midland, Texas. I am researching all 228 men who died in Vietnam from 30 West Texas Counties. Project includes finding burial sites.

I am also attempting to locate the final burial places and pictures of all Veterans who died in the Vietnam War. The Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Fund is in the process of building a new education center which will house the photos of all Vietnam casualties. I am involved in this project. If any one has a picture of a Vietnam casualty, please let me know.

I am attempting to add memorial tributes to those Vietnam deaths as I find them at findagrave. I am using data from many sources. One of the best is This is a copyrighted site. I have been a 10 year contributor and assist them when and where I am asked. I am not on their staff. I have obtained permission to utilize some of their material. That permission, however, is limited and does not give other contributors the permission to copy and use that material without obtaining authorization from

Other sources includes Department of Defense Form 1330 headstone request information. I do not have actual copies of these requests but do have means to obtain copies from other researchers such at and Robert Sage of Austin, Texas. This information, however, was documented a short time following the death of the service member. There have been instances where a service member was disinterred and moved to another grave site at a later date. Some of the information gives a burial locale and not a specific cemetery. In those instances, the headstone was most often delivered to the Funeral Home, or when delivered to a family member, they made their own arrangements to the set the headstone.

Other sites that I utilize is the Wall Project at This is the actual site of the Wall. Some of the information includes other contributors who have documented information there. I attempt to give credit as I can.

Other sites include Finally, I have utilized information from family, friends and acquaintances to document the Vietnam casualty's final resting place. Invaluable is the contribution of the findagrave community. These volunteers have assisted in actually locating and documenting burial sites.

There are occasionally errors and omissions, but I will correct that when I receive creditable information.

If you feel that any of the images/words used on this site infringe on YOUR rights, please contact me via EDIT BUTTON FOR CORRESPONDENCE and I will be more than happy to comply with your request and remove them.

Bruce Alvin Robinson
Find A Grave Memorial# 125988337

You sent me a couple of edits for Bruce, which I accepted, but now am beginning to question for the following reasons:

There was a Bruce Allen Robinson who died in Viet Nam, according to this record on

Citing this Record

"United States Military Personnel who Died During the Vietnam War, 1956-2003," database, FamilySearch ( : 12 December 2014), Bruce Allen Robinson, 03 Nov 1968; citing , Binh Duong, South Vietnam, panel 39W, line 013, NARA NAID 571687, National Archives at College Park, Maryland.

But, as far as I know, the parents of Bruce Alvin Robinson never lived in California, and I can find no birth record there for him. Also, note that the birth and death dates for Bruce Alvin and Bruce Allen are not the same. I got my birth date for Bruce Alvin from an index of cemetery records for Mount Hebron cemetery, which is no longer online. And note that Bruce Alvin was buried 4 days after his death, which seems a little soon for someone who died in Viet Nam.

So my question to you is, do you have any more information for Bruce Alvin Robinson to confirm his death records?

I am looking for Don's wife and her family. Brenda is her name and their baby was Dawn Anna. They stayed at Grandma's house before Don left for Viet Nam. We were crushed when they found him and returned him hone. My parents are gone now and so are hers. I would appreciate hearing from any of the family. Thanks so much

Thank you for your kind words and comment on my fathers memorial. I posted photos of him and his division in hope that some one that served with him would contact me since i never met my father and always hoped to be a soldier as he was .
Thank you for your service as well. you are an "uncle " to me as were all the men whom served in Vietnam as well as all the Brave women who served as nurses in that time as they are my "Aunts"

Mr. Brown, I don't want you to think of this as any kind of complaint or criticism because I deeply appreciate all of the work you have done on this family. This woman is my husband's great grandmother. I am trying to help the family "prove" the genealogy for a lineage society. So, here is my problem: the obituary shows that she had two brothers and two sisters. I know this is the correct obit because we found it in the files at the SA public library. We only have three on the Find A Grave website. I have four on my tree, but now feel compelled to go back and "prove" them all. But the biggest question for me is that on the death certificate the parents are listed as William and Tobe, not the people we have all linked her to. This information was given by her daughter, a person I found to be pretty sharp most of her life. You can see my problem proving all of this. My proof documents have conflicting information. I have not yet made the trip to Mullins and whatever county it was in at the time, but have not been able to find william and tobe online either. Any information you have that might help me prove any facts will certainly help.
