Bio and Links
Bio Photo I don't live near any of my own relatives and very much appreciate the work that folks from those areas have done. I concentrate on the cemeteries near my home, adding information about spouses, maiden names, and parents whenever I find sources that appear to be valid. I'm sure there are times that I'm led astray by what looks valid, so please send an edit or contact me if you see something that doesn't look right!

I'm glad to transfer records if you're a direct relative of someone whose memorial I created. Please see the FAG guidelines under "How do I get a Relative's Memorial Transferred to Me" on the "Help with Find A Grave" page.

Feel free to use the headstone photos that I've taken in any way that is respectful.

My profile picture is of Kari, one of my second great-grandmothers.

Zella Blazer
Hi Wanda, I just happen to read a posting about the photo I took for Zella Blazer on Dee's site. When I posted the photo I made an indication with the photo that it was in Burson and not in Shade where the memorial was wrongly posted. I even sent a notice to the person that created the memorial advising the memorial was wrongly placed, but unfortunately it never was removed or even moved. I am finding this so often, which is sad. I found a entire family buried in the wrong cemetery and the person refuses to move them to the correct cemetery. I have deleted my photo from the memorial to keep from having anymore confusion. Thank you for your help. Rick

RE: Sylvester Young
I am having a problem linking My Sylvester (1826) to Mary Jane Kincade. I found a census record for Sylvester and Mary J Young in 1850 with child Mary A but Sylvester is listed as a "farmer of 400 acres". Could there be another Sylvester involved here?
What sources do you have for Mary Jane Kincade?

RE: Sylvester Young
What I was looking for was what your source was for Sylvester and Mary Jane Kincade Young. I've been working in FamilySearch on the record of his son John C (my relative) and there are tons of duplicates there. Some of which I have examined but the record I am working on now and attaching the research I have found is ID# LRJD-SXW.

Sylvester Young
I am doing research on Sylvester Young of Athens Ohio. Noticed you have info and links to a 2nd wife on his record here on Find A Grave.
What can you tell me of the sources of this info?
Thanks for your time on this.

RE: Canaanville Cemetery
Thank you so much for your quick response! Too bad there isn't a headstone. I do really appreciate all of your work that you have done for find a grave. I recognize the time and effort it took, and I am very grateful to have a picture of Francis Bakers headstone.
