I began searching for Maiden names of Women in the Family. Years of off and on research made some exciting finds.Names lost of Grandparents Mothers etc on the male side and also on the female side. Names never to be known unless uncovered.Thanks to the new Family I have found and their sharing of the wonderful Price history of our relatives. Thanks to the Journey To Cape Fear By Michael Price (A wonderful work),if not for EEPrice,I would not have the book..so a special thanks to you.South Carolina Price Family,The Price-Collins Family, I say a big thanks to all the help. A special thanks for the help of the Bethel Baptist Church,a cousin there, in MS that led me to a path of My GG Grandfather. All I have to say about the wonderful and exciting lives in my history is WOW. Very impressive for those that grabbed the brass ring and ran with it.Before(2012) I knew nothing of my Paternal side of the lost Family.|

|Donald Ward||RE: Henretta Barret Dickson|
I'm sorry I can't help on that. I found the record of her marriage to Christopher W. Dickson on 7 Dec 1946 in Tipton County, Tennessee. It's reasonable to assume (though far from certain) that Henretta was living with her family in Tipton County at the time of her marriage. Unfortunately, no other family names are on the marriage record. Unfortunately, as you probably know, the 1840 census does not list names of anybody but the head of the family. If this were one of my Tipton County families I would follow the Dickson's through the 1850 and subsequent census records in the hope that at some point in the future either Henretta's mother or father (or both) ends up living with Henretta in their old age.
Best of luck,
Donald J. Ward

After a hour and half I found how you are talking abut. Do you still need the info?
|Goldeneagle||RE: William Claude Price|
It would be so helpful if you would give me a Find A Grave number. I have over 16,000 names in my database.

Please go ahead and send your query by email. The findagrave message system doesn't let me just hit reply and have discussion. Thanks
|Larry Davis||RE: James E Price Headstone|
The credit belongs to Barbara & Wayne Davis. They went to Iona,took the picture and sent it to me.
|D & N Kirk||James & Sophia Malinda Weast McGahhey|
Thanks for James & Sophia Malinda. I will write a little of their history on their sites. McGahhay has been written so many ways. Thanks Don Kirk (My grandmother was a Weast, her father was born in Rutherford County, NC, and would certainly have know Sophia)

Please REMOVE Sarah's "Death Record" from Scott Price's Memorial. It does not belong there, and I have "specifically" Requested that NO Death Records be posted on ANY Memorials that I have posted. If you have a personal photo, or Headstone photo; then by all means, post it. But NOT Death Records. Thank for respecting my wishes, Sandi
|rdsxfan||George Washington Smith|
Thank you for the help with this memorial. I went back to the obituary and tried to find death certificates for the surviving brothers and sisters. I was able to find one for William Henry (Billie) Smith. His parents are listed as John Smith and Elizabeth Moore. His memorial linked to his mother Elizabeth. Also linked to Elizabeth is Caroline McAlister, also listed as a survivor.
