Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Sheila Cray Lucas. I am originally from New Castle, Pa and now live in Girard, Ohio. I have been working on finding my ancestors for the past few years and am now becoming obscessed!! I realize that information is sometimes hard to come by and if it were not for the wonderful people I have met during my own searches it would be even more slow going. Thanks to all who volunteer their time in the quest for the past.

My fathers ancestors (Cray)are mostly from New Jersey. My mothers side (Hemphill and Meyers) are from Sharon, Pa.

Please feel free to use any of my pictures for your family trees.

While photographing military markers in section 7 of Tod Cemetery I did Jennie's Carson grave to help me identify the location of the marker next to her which is illegible. When I did a search for her I came across you. I thought she may be related to you. If she is I'll transfer her to you. The same funeral company is on your Carson's stone.

Regards, Dianne from Austintown

RE: Reed Memorials Find a Grave
Hi, Sheila thank you I put through a edit request for transfer for William and Gertrude. William was such a great puzzle that we solved together. I so enjoy working on our family history and instead of grave walking I call it "dancing with the ancestors". Wishing you great success and great dancing. Nan

RE: Susana Gould McCullough

Thanks very much! Neither of the 2 obits I had (for Wm F. McCullough Sr) list the cemetery. Nor did I have his Death cert.

And your kind offer to transfer the couple's memorials is gratefully accepted.
That will allow me to link his offspring via the bio until the memorial managers accept the patent link edit.

Now I only have to find find my great-grandfather (but his is probably in Detroit) to connect his parents to my grandfather's memorial.

Thanks again,
(Graver 48600906 )

Susana Gould McCullough

Thank you for finding and posting my great-great-grandmother's interment.

I also appreciate your adding the Obit I sent to her bio. My message that day disappeared when FindAGrave's messaging system, my iPhone and the reCaptcha anti-spam feature had a disagreement.

Did you happen to find her husband's grave in the same area? I'm hoping he's there:
William Franklin McCullough, Sr.

Died: September 4, 1917

RE: Hartranft
interesting. . . .grandma Ruth, their daughter, always said they were buried at Crown Hill. . . now I know why we never found their graves. Hum. . . I will move my records to the appropriate cemetery if you will go ahead and post their photos.

That would be a very good reason why we never got to take any pictures. . .Ruth got so twisted up when we went, that she completely lost track of what she was doing. Makes me wonder if there isn't someone in the Crown Hill Cemetery????
