I authorize anyone to use my Find a Grave images in Wikipedia or their own family research, under the creative commons attribution license cc-by-2.5, where the attribution is 'R.E.H.'."

Going forward, unless there is a compelling reason, I will only transfer listings of people someone knew closely, i.e. parent, child or close friend. I'm sorry, but someone who died 200 years ago could be related to thousands of people. I prefer you add one of my listings under your umbrella using the virtual cemetery feature at Find A Grave. If you have additional information, I will happily add it and list you as the contributor.

Also, please do not ask me add an obituary to a person's memorial. See Find A Grave policy below:

Can I add an obituary to my interment listing?
It is best to not copy obituary notices from newspapers to an individual's memorial record unless you have permission from the newspaper to do so. In general, obituaries in newspapers are submitted by the family. If the obituary is added to the memorial record, it should list the newspaper and date the obit was printed. Find A Grave reserves the right to remove obituary notices from memorial records.
Obituaries for "famous" individuals are usually written by newspaper staff and can not be posted to Find A Grave.
Please do not include website addresses that may be listed in the obituary as they usually expire within a year after the obituary is printed.

David Martling (??-1827)
Find A Grave data shows him to be son of Abraham Martlings and Jennet Ackerman.

David's Wife is listed as Christina Martling (1759-1827). That would be her married name.

What is her MAIDEN NAME?? You show her parents as Danl. Martlings (??-1788) and Maria Van Wart (??-1791).

If Christina is wife of David Martling, son of Abraham Martlings and Jennet Ackerman -- her maiden last name cannot be Martling.

This cannot be . . .

RE: # 6415522
Oh. That's too bad. Thanks for clarifying and thanks, too, for creating the memorial.

I am confused about this. The memorial gives an inscription (72y 2m 24d) but there is also a note which would seem to contradict that: This grave does not have an existing marker.
Can you explain that? I hope to visit this cemetery this summer.

RE: Pruden, Phebe
Yes, that would be nice. I always like to add info so someone else searching this same family, will have some help.
