|Loretta Lynn Layman||Memorial #140321821 - Edward Moats|
Hi Melvin. You may want to add a note to Edward's bio to the effect that his obituary may have erred concerning his parents. In 1850 and 1860, when he would have been about 6 and 16, respectively, the only Edward Moats of any spelling anywhere in Franklin County was a son of Henry and Catherine (Thomas) Moats. At the same time, no Jacob Moats of any spelling - other than an older son of Henry - is found living in Franklin County in those years. Further, Henry's son Jacob was just 15-16 years older than Edward and, in 1860, had children who were only 1-3 years old - none named Edward.

I am working on photographing all the remaining, un-photographed gravestones in Salem United Methodist Cemetery in Wolfsville and I came across an issue.
There is a duplicate entry for Edna Beulah Wolfe Stottlemyer (#s 44851825 and 82000104) so, as I usually do in this situation, I planned to contact the memorial owner to let them know about this. Turns out though that the contributor for both these memorials, Mary Ann Booher (#46917967), has passed away per her profile page message.
I bring this to your attention because I noticed that she transferred several of the Stottlemyer memorials to you. Do you have access to the other memorials that she left behind? I was curious because although this one duplicate should be no big deal, there are other memorials that I may need to add edits to that would not get accepted if no one is managing the memorials.

I filled your photo request for Amos Lehman. I also took pictures of the other Lehman graves beside him and made memorials for each, linked them together and transferred management to you.
